Premium Member Presidential 'Foodie'
Ronald Reagan in his prime
Was a foodie, way ahead of his time
   Though others thought it 'kvetch-able'
He daringly labeled ketchup, on meat, a vegetable!

The Moth
Through tomes of strange mythology
   Floats music sweetened by the gods;
And secrets wrapped in mystery
   Dance daringly where knowledge nods.

My very soul I'd gladly sell
(Were there a devil in a hell)
To learn the truths within that tune --
But tiny wings can't touch the moon....

Absence of Flowers
This thinning pen lays
on a shed of damp grasses,
where there are no flowers
to daringly explore---
A gasping star wanes
into the ash of light;
emptiness becomes its only environ
neutral as the dunked rays
greying the skyline.
Dreary as a poet's last whimper,
unfinished phrases gather to rest
anticipating the wake of morn's petals....

Path of Destruction
Why do people daringly walk the path of destruction?
They see pleanty get devour on that path,
Yet those individuals obey folly's instruction.
Do they gave thought to the aftermath?
I think they need a genuine eye bath.
These people are warned on time to reverse.
Cause, when Grimm Reaper arrive to ravage souls, will he converse?...

The Murder Diaries I
In the billow of mercurial cataclysms
Sharp as the pyrexia of igneous pebble stones
Upon my hindquarters I was cast
The circles that were established
Branded my skin with cancerous nightmares
Crafting the twisted love song ****ing my throat
Through the lavender haze I tread
Threatened by a medley of conundrums
The tongue legislating such echoes
‘tis the element I so daringly seek...

There are always a few
Troublesome “tickl-ings “
Daringly darting
In somnambulant slumber
Shape shifting shadows
Mocking the moonlight
Creeping through the crevasses
Of literary limitation
Weeping with the whispering words
Subtlety suppressed by silence
Like mice they meander the mind
Seeking sustenance and satiation
Borrowed brown shoes
Dancing in a dusty darkness

Hummingbird, daintily
darting so merrily, looking for soda pop,
without the

slightest of care!
To the next shop, sugary stop
down there!

That one?
Daringly drop!
Fun!

Hummingbird, daintily
to the next shop! Sugary stop
fun!

Premium Member Shadow's Fall
How the shadows fall back bowing;
prostrating themselves
before the noon day sun.
Genuflecting as their wooden, vegetative father’s can not.
Performing dance movements of mimicry
the boughs above initiate.

How the shadows fall daringly, dauntless;
dissecting the bleached winter grass,
making perplexing puzzles of mossy patches
creating mystical arteries upon
the breast of Mother Earth....

Premium Member She Must Never Know That I Love Her So-
She will never no, that I love her
because I'm afraid to tell her, she'll might say no

and reject me so
this is why I refuse to tell her so

That I love her so
I pray for her often

often I pray for her
this I do daringly

and I relish in the future day that
she might would just sparingly relish me

In awe just but why because I love her so

“What is there to say? They are my friends. I would do it again, over and over — for I hate cruelty and intolerance.” Oskar Schlinder

LOST IN A SEA OF WAR

daringly intrepid,
dazzlingly, dizzily
protecting the poor,
the unarmed, the kids,
those lost in a sea
of war — Schindler
and his musical score,
outscoring the hate
that seemingly won’t abate
but for God steps into
the shoes of man

All Alice Wanted
All Alice wanted
Was to retrieve
The slipper of glass
Birth a beautiful boy
Cry carefree, caring incautiously
Do dangerous things, drive daringly
Endure every broken heart easily
Freely fly away from failure
Gain nothing by giving graciously
Help heal others hearts
Ignore inflammatory implications
Live with long lasting love
Make love to many men
Plan nothing, please plenty
To have taken away
The troubles that tore terribly
That’s all Alice wanted...

Premium Member The Audience Falls Silent
The biggest show in Vegas.
There’s not one empty seat.
No bad acts to plague us.
The night has been replete
with singers and with dancers who move with skillful feet.

Now has come the last act. Everyone agrees
it’s the biggest one that is in store.
Blindfolded, two are daringly swinging by trapeze.
The audience falls silent. What for?
In shock, we watch the fallen one, bleeding on the floor.
