Depart the stage w'th a curtsy or a bow

Let youth perform and garner the applause

Curtsy
i bow
you bow
as a cello

i hold you
between my
legs and try

to at least
hear relief
in your tones

when it's then
that i realize
i'm on the off

beat but
your back
beat fantas

tically
is one
that i

will
always

Premium Member Winter Dance 2
Winter put on his coat of white
Whispered to the wind
Come and dance a dance with me
We will whirl and twirl
All across this country floor
Wind sighs in sweet refrain
Wraps her coat tight
Answered winter in delight
Come we curtsy and we bow
Now we dance merrily on new found snow.

Distant Rumblings

A distant rumbling
slowly turns unwary heads,
anticipation’s curtsy
awaiting stillness.
Homage before the deluge.
The delicate staccato,
of clouded future,
cold touch, a victor’s mercy,
counting coup on flower beds.

Behind Back Talking
I can't stand behind back talking people saying what they think about you behind your
back. I can't stand behind back talking if you have something to say just say it in my
face. I won't behind your back talk about you so please do me the curtsy and open your
mouth and say whatever you have to say about me to my face. Because I can't stand behind
back talking....

Shadows Dance (Freeverse)
Silhouettes behind curtains,
reach upward
into the illumination
of moonlight,
and dance the tango of dreams.

Velveteen wings
briefly touch sparkling gems of tomorrow
while filigree legs curtsy
and welcome a new day.

Empty eyes kissed by the Witching Hour
silently retire within unfolding dreams
for love, she was with me today
while we talked of things to be,
yet I was already in tomorrow....

Premium Member Final Curtain
I will soon forget
the laughter that I could give
when life felt so right
When the last curtain does fall
there will not be an encore

I stand on my mark
Dust motes float in the spot light
I curtsy left, right
There is no applause to hear
No one to see the last act

The seats are empty
The isles are not crowded
The doors are boarded
All that is left on this night
Is the final toast farewell...

Come Dance
Come dance with me,
the moon is full, glowing bright
and I feel a little lonely tonight.

The day was full of steady rain
  barely saw the sun's rays
and I felt like life had nothing left to gain.

Come around the shadowy bend
bow and curtsy to the music played
and tonight would you be my best friend.

Come sway to the rhythmic hum
  let the pleasure overtake you
and I will be all yours until the morning comes....

Our World Mediator
Praised our Creator
He saw the lines
Which required his time
Jesus eyes saw our truth
Even within his youth
Never sought revenge
Made of them friends
Shown them curtsy
Upon his mercy
Why Jesus Christ cried
He saw through the lies
To save us all
He heard Our Father call
To him belongs the throne
Our corner-stone
Which seed has grown
Truth shall be shown
God loves his own
Blessed with the deed
To deliver this read...

Prima donna restless surf
Dance on shoreline turf
Crash to augmented beat
Trip light fantastical fleet

Pirouette high and low
Gracefully curtsy, as you go
Effervescent tutu foam
Crisscross silt return home

Sea of melodious minuet
Garner stars in silhouette
Highest regards to deep blue
 Keen tis moon to ensue

Reflections of stars on glass
Shimmer at ballerina pass
Chaotic tis waters rebuff
Beauty tis never enough...

Paying Respects
The casket’s draped in purple,
Which is what the crowd expects,
As they inch up in the queue at last
To pay their last respects.

They’ve waited there for hours
For a minute with the Queen,
To bow or curtsy or salute,
A touching, tender scene.

Each somber guard stands by
With no expression on his face
And silence fills Westminster Hall
For mourners to embrace.

Across the pond, we watch in awe,
For who knows if or when
We’ll ever see the likes
Of such a tribute come again....
