Under the Sun

beneath a golden sun
dressed the part
for an outdoor
midsummer concert

in parade the musicians
they curtsy sweet in harmony
together launch
their whimsical quartet

and us as guests
leisurely enjoy
the cocktail hour
while others partake
in high noon tea
