An enormous wind crawled into my window sill
I stand still, layered with chills
An energetic aura shapes my ghostly curtains
Work
begins
at sunset;
Life on third shift
midnight’s my mid day;
Black out curtains
at sunrise,
catching
sleep.
with curtains drawn i bathe in dawn's sunlight,
r e l i n q u i s h i n g yesterday
with an audible yawn.
night snow
moccasin silent
drifts downward
landing without feet...
smiles in the sunlight
~ morning curtains peek
The west wind is cruel
It appears to stir curtains
When I close my eyes
O Hypnos rush to me
with
Morpheus and Thanatos.
My coldness wakes me.
Trees blush in first light.
Curtains rustle with breeze.
Bird choir.
Coffee's waft.
Morning rewards.
Swipe away the curtains and gaze into my windows of truth. Frolic through my open garden and breathe in my fragrance of passion.
Snow falls, curtains closed
Life changed and the biting
Wind howls and freezes the
tears that blow away with the
snowflakes.
In a blue room with red curtains at, their station....
Twas during her latter fall it's early winter of two thousand
Six then seven
Form:
cold white moonlight drapes
diamonds all around me
dances with shadows
as curtains move with the wind
time to make that perfect wish
Moon glow
upon
the night stage
Dreams
hang wistful
on the curtains of
stars.
Printed curtains
(billowing rose
with a light behind
& a garden scent)
& if they are not roses
(at least)
they have no thorns.
Head rearing,
Two windows peering,
Blue curtains closed, dreaming.
Ruby door seeking,
Pearly interior beaming,
From it, poetry teeming.
Winter throws at us
Many structures of brilliance ~~~

No one home in this house the cupboards are bare
No carpets to walk upon
No curtains to pull
No laughter no tears, Just memories of happier years.
rushing waters fall
as of sweet rhythmic curtains,
draping moss and stone
Submitted for Raul Moreno's "Rhythm of The Falls" contest.
Yet the moon high up
Playing hide nad seek
With my half buried curtains
But still I can feel
That warmth beneath my heart
No moment can be without you
Epigram
When parks have been fenced in and locked
And school play grounds shut down
Will children be safe or lose their freedom
Behind dark curtains?
Unfinished
This world
To be conquered
When the lights
Finally go out
On this stage
When the
Curtains drops
Your majesty,
We shall be
Diminished
What makes you feel Poetry Contest

As the curtains closed on Mom's eyes, stages of memories teared in my heart

the cue was uttered
the closure was made
the curtains fell
hands clapped
and the lights went out
then you crushed
the only puppet you had on stage
me
The smoke that thunders
curtains of falling waters
natures pounding heart
Weakest Link
Belt around a size eight waist
curtains waiting to be close
undressed, with a weak link touch
hard like a buckle.

Backstage it’s utter chaos
Curtains rise and perfection unfolds on cue
Much like behind closed doors
