End Of
We are contributing to the end of the world
the eyes of humanity are not quite open to the harmonies of life
it seems like hate makes the world go around...

Probable and Possible
Probable and Possible

Wonder how this relates to politics and news.

Absolute knowledge we could not refute,
And it did understand how to distribute;
Probable and possible,
And being responsible,
Contributing to character of an attribute.

New Dimension
Climbing the ladder
Surface to ignight
Space circling the planets
Speaking in the division

Spiritual lifting
Circling a dimension of redness.
Taking clothes to the new world

Climbing the ladder to this
Shifting, reflexing, flexing

Rachel Sassoon Beer
Your thinking led you
to become a Christian
and your family
disowned you because of that.

You were the journalist,
contributing articles
with business-like
editing decisions.

After death of your husband,
who passed the sickness on you,
you had to struggle with it for years
until you succumb victorious....

A Loud Report
When, at the annual general meeting
of Walrus Armaments Incorporated
the Chairman, Mr. Carpenter,
reported to shareholders that,
despite the current global turndown,
business was booming
and contributing to world peace,
the applause was thunderous.

 At the buffet afterwards
 the delicious oysters
excited comment....

My Best Friend
I have a best friend,
Our friendship never ends

She is trustful to make a bribe
Oh! I forgot to describe!

Let me start,

She is a baby at heart
Contributing brilliant ideas is her art,

Tall and slender,
To jump on trampoline she is eager

She can prove to be a very good companion,
Lives life to fullest, carries no tension....

Premium Member Flowery Verbose Sermons
New reverend espouses ridiculously flowery verbose sermons
Congregation divides several times over the next few months
I stay, imagining they will get better, more down-to-earth, honest.
Pretty soon there are only two of us left.
We give each other shrugs and glances.
He does not ask for help.
So we remain silent.
Contributing to his failure....

Premium Member Brain-Fartilizer
Nobody is perfect;
We all do stupid things,
But I think there are contributing factors
For these happenings.

My kids help make me stupid;
My wife contributes some;
My boss and my employees
Can all help make me dumb.

It’s the collection of all these inputs,
Preventing me from getting wiser;
Nourishing my stupidity’s growth,
That I call brain-fartilzer....

Egg, Nuts and Rock-Roll
Egg, Nuts and Rock & Roll

Chicken eggs are not handy when it comes to cholesterol,
Dieting is a waste of contributing, to satisfy his monster balls.
How many nuts can I crack in the palm of my hands?
Holding them one by one, until someone understands.
Rock & Roll is good for my heart disease.
Holding off on eggs and nuts is such a tease!

The Invitation
Fondled by the temptation of an autumn sunset
Erect stands a woman in the cradle of such potent winds
Quite dashingly contributing colour to the scene
Her silky, black dress enveloping her ever so tightly
Composing the shape of an inviting taboo
Whilst refraining all comely sounds of vernacular
How her lips whisper things of which previously I knew not
Sign o’ the times...

Greater Joy
Every father trying to earn
A little more than usual;
Every mother trying to save,
A penny more than the other months;
Every child adding in piggy banks,
As much, sacrificing sugar candies;
Every grandfather and mother,
Manually contributing for preparation,
At the end, sharing with neighbors,
Little joys of the God-given season;
Makes Christmas more enjoyable,
Than pleasure gained, out of rich legacy...

The Radio
We listen to the radio
At home or in the car.
It's really such good company
No matter where we are.

We flip the stations back and forth
From classical to jazz,
With rock & roll contributing
In that cool way it has.

The bathroom has a radio
That's set to just the news,
With traffic and the weather
And occasional reviews.

Though some prefer the quiet
We love music in the air
And the trusty AM/FM
Does its job to keep it there....

Premium Member 99 Percent Is a Big Number
The Jesus I grew up with was all about love.
Was all about being human.
Was all about contributing what he had.
Was all about encouraging others to contribute what they had
and everyone was so into figuring out how to contribute
they didn't worry about getting stiffed.
And everyone got what they needed
All were fulfilled.

In my mind
Jesus is occupying Wall Street
and hundreds of thousands of places
where humans dwell miserably
but not without hope....

Premium Member Empathetic Fairy
Among the dandelions empathetic fairy listened to misunderstood squirrel.
She made no suggestions, sat quietly, in silence, nodding sometimes.
Showing him how valuable a good listener can be.
Especially one who does not interrupt to ask questions.
He concluded for himself the answer as he watched her watch him.
It was the best council he had ever received.
And in silence.
Empathetic fairy had helped him fix his problem
Without contributing one word....

Awakening Spring
Spring winds dance amid trees,
breeze trips o'er green lawns.
Flora rainbows bloom in weeds,
sunshine follows the dawn.

Winter bids a last lament,
one last frosty display.
Pink cherry blossoms comment,
scented aromas from bud sprays.

Robins with their heads bent,
seeking earth worms this day.
Birds whistle the new advent,
contributing to springs display.

Sun wears her Golden bonnet,
dressed in her Easter array.
Poets rehearsing their sonnets,
voicing springs pleasant stay....

The Cranes
All around I see the cranes
Of buildings growing taller,
Contributing to blocking out the sky,
Which seems much smaller.

They haul supplies, enabling
The placing of the beams
To disrupt the city skyline
And fulfill somebody's dreams.

The cranes are not at fault, although
They're easier to blame.
Without them our fair city
Couldn't play this modern game.

But since they're here, the buildings rise,
Monstrosities of glass,
The beauty of the views we knew
Abruptly come to pass....
