At home or in the car.
It's really such good company
No matter where we are.

We flip the stations back and forth
From classical to jazz,
With rock & roll contributing
In that cool way it has.

The bathroom has a radio
That's set to just the news,
With traffic and the weather
And occasional reviews.

Though some prefer the quiet 
We love music in the air
And the trusty AM/FM
Does its job to keep it there....

The Jesus I grew up with was all about love.
Was all about being human.

Empathetic fairy had helped him fix his problem

Winter bids a last lament,

seeking earth worms this day.
Birds whistle the new advent,

Sun wears her Golden bonnet,
dressed in her Easter array.
Poets rehearsing their sonnets,
voicing springs pleasant stay....

All around I see the cranes
Of buildings growing taller,
Contributing to blocking out the sky,
Which seems much smaller.

They haul supplies, enabling
The placing of the beams
To disrupt the city skyline
And fulfill somebody's dreams.

The cranes are not at fault, although
They're easier to blame.
Without them our fair city
Couldn't play this modern game.

But since they're here, the buildings rise,
Monstrosities of glass,
The beauty of the views we knew
Abruptly come to pass....
