Empathetic Fairy

Among the dandelions empathetic fairy listened to misunderstood squirrel. She made no suggestions, sat quietly, in silence, nodding sometimes. Showing him how valuable a good listener can be. Especially one who does not interrupt to ask questions. He concluded for himself the answer as he watched her watch him. It was the best council he had ever received. And in silence. Empathetic fairy had helped him fix his problem Without contributing one word.

I have found in my life many problems can be fixed that very same way. Beautiful and well done Caren, I visualized this entire conversation thought one sided as it seemed. God Bless

Thank you. I have been trained to listen and offer no suggestions. It is a skill I constantly work toward.

Great one, Caren, silent listener. How do you come up with so many poems in a day, I barely can do 1 a day. Enjoyed reading. Hugs Eve

Eve, here is my secret. I flip through magazines and the dictionary and write down impressions and words that hit me. Suddenly my muse Trixie begins handing me poems. I once wrote 32 in a row. I type 85 words per hour which helps a lot.
