Dazzling sun proposed

Pale moon consented bride to be

Flickering stars blushed!

Plan Trump Had Invented
Plan Trump Had Invented

Another plan Trump had invented,
And no one else ever consented;
Fulfilled need
Or agreed;
He was satisfied and contented.

It's Not Her Time...
Seemingly restless

Eyes quivering beneath wrinkles

Her body trembles within her skin

Yet concious to words spoken aloud

She lays in passage for eternal life

One she has not consented too...

Up Tight
Up Tight

Everyone has been up tight
Always trying to get it right
Facts were presented
But boss had not consented
Then tongue started to bite.

This has been a big pain
about emails.

Did Dent World With Sins
Dented World With Sins

With our sins world had dented,
And so we finally had repented;
World she did storm,
With her new form;
Both Christ and God consented.

Now I wonder who this poem
was written about.

Have Lamented
Have Lamented

Many times have lamented
If she would have consented
Love of mine was only one
Together have had much fun
I would not become demented.

Choice
We suitors were idiots squabbling in line
till mademoiselle informed us of her choice.
Intoxicating, her bouquet divine,
like the vintage of a rich full-bodied wine.
Fearful she would not hearken to my voice,
overjoyed when she consented to be mine!...

Hillary Provides Food
Hillary Provides Food

Hillary provides food which will nourish
So we comfortably exist and flourish
Remain happy and be contented
And to all of this God has consented
Our love of country we should cherish.

Wishing and Hoping
We suitors were nervous while standing in line
'til mademoiselle informed us of her choice;
intoxicating, her bouquet divine,
like the vintage of a rich, full-bodied wine;
fearful she would not hearken to my voice,
overjoyed when she consented to be mine!

Was Not Intended
Was Not Intended

Was not intended
When my endeavored ended
Rules were amended
Into air blended
Casket cemented
She had consented
Car door was dented
My eyes had glinted
Answer was hinted
Not oriented
I had relented
Vessels were stinted
Ended up suspended
Room was well-vented.

Sound Asleep Did Bury Deep
he is sound asleep
did bury my dead cat (Henry) deep
then will cry and weep

no more reliance
life is full of avoidance
contains defiance

each night seems so still
when we did hear whippoorwill
on our windowsill

God always hinted
wait until He consented
then to church sprinted

we gave God a test
kill sinners who are a pest
help bird build her nest...

Ufo
Until times end I will calmly wait for you
Forever thinking of things we used to do
Only time can erase the memories so true

Undaunted I consented to be your wife
Fearful and hopeful for our new life
Of which there was love and a little strife

Unfortunately it’s over time has revealed
Fundamental faults which couldn’t be healed
Only left with loving memories concealed...

My Next Ten In One Limerick
Woke up and these were on my mind.

Away, stay, say, may.

Waited, adulated, emulated

Contemplated, ill-fated, denigrated.

Send, extend, bend, attend.

Console, extol, sole, troll.

There, care, share, where.

Utmost, perfect host, boast, ghost.

Talented, prevented, consented.

Situate, hesitate, wait.

Obstacle, ridicule, mule.

Your limerick challenge for the day.

God My Attorney On a Journey
God always hinted
What we did He consented
to church se sprinted

went on long journey
while God was our attorney
our sins would bury

when we would grapple
God did give us an apple
took with to chapel

we looked way out far
Saw God who is shining star
in Carolina tar

born in land of free
God was like a shining sea
flowing over me

while sitting on shore
God made rain which would pour
He made more and more...

Betrayal
Betrayal

While sending out this email
Surely felt a sense of betrayal
From those in America who live
And find them hard to forgive
What will the future entail.

Jim Horn

As a retired veteran Trump is a slap in the face.
Wonder how Captain Khan's parents are accepting
all of this

May Be Resented

If by no one was I consented
Catch disease, may be prevented
To ballot box had proceeded
By Hillary was badly needed
Gave up and Trump relented.

Beside Myself
Oh, I believe I deserve to hurt,
The day’s slipping by
as the sun pours molten orange
along the western horizon
forging a shield of darkness.

Now as a robust moon rises
to embellish the night sky,
I am beside myself
and in the throes of frenzied agony;

After much beseeching
She finally consented to moonlight rendezvous—
but where?
For the life of me I just couldn’t recall!

Beside Myself
Oh, I believe I deserve to hurt,
The day is slipping by
as the sun pours molten gold
along the western horizon
forging a shield of burnished shadows.

Now as a robust moon rises
to embellish the night sky
Alas, I am beside myself
and in the throes of frenzied agony...

After much beseeching
She finally consented to a moonlight rendezvous—
But where?
For the life of me I just couldn’t recall!

Where Should I
Where Should I

Where should I start and begin
Pine trees are tall as well as thin
In the breeze will swing and sway
While children underneath often play.

So today what should we try to do?
Ask God to make dreams come true
Or something special like smiling dog
Maybe frog leaping high over a log.

Fresh flowers were cut and presented
To my pretty wife who has consented
Instead of a pie made out of apple
We had fried eggs mixed with scrapple.
