He Asked For His Condolence Fees
A teacher told class;
“I know a few years
I will die and go
give me my money,
the condolence fees
those mourners, I fear
will cheat me!”...

Deepest condolences for your recent loss I understand how your sadness feels, For I, too, have borne that bitter cross And long for the time when memory heals When peace returns what eternity steals.

In a Condolence Gathering
Each one cried.
None knew who died.
Aunty!
Some said loudly.
My great-uncle lost,
Said the host;
My son -
A bright sun...
Watched all!
Said: A Fall...!
Birth and death
Depends on the breath
Should one for money mourn?
Born...
Death is a fact known...!

Bereavement
Bestowed bereavement, this condolence graft,
the memorabilia sequence, mine not draft
like some ongoing virtue, depth not classed,
forever love relinquish at the pass
the merriment not, but laughing, seal to last,
joy to eternal hoping, prithee to cast
my soul, not rent with sorrow
seams with bast . . ....

Three Haiku Poems
ONLINE

Everybody
Hadbeen in online
So, they send condolence
For neighbour’s death
through online

TALKATIVE

Lazyman
Won in the speech
About ‘hard work’
But, the hard worker
failed in the contest
without present a good speech

MUDDY SOIL

Lazy to enter near you
But ready to eat crops
ripes from you...

Regret
The deepest regret I have is losing dear friends
to the grave; friends who I would have
taken time to understand, love, and appreciate
their presence in my life.

A condolence and memorial pages aren't
enough for me to cover for my absence
in their lives. Instead, a gap has been left
in my heart, only for them to fill the earth.......

Premium Member What Do I Say
How do I comfort a friend who loses the love of her life? My words feel so small, smaller than my tears. Her heart is torn in two and my thoughts of condolence
emerge fractured and insignificant. What do I say?
when words aren't enough silence presence listening ears let her know you care

Premium Member Insurance
Nothing can be insured totally
Neither life, accident, disaster,
sickness nor epidermic
Surely
You pay and lose to receive
It is only a sort of compensation
A sort of condolence gift
Sadly to say
No one can insure Omicron
As no one can insure fate
Anyway
Recite a prayer
Do distancing, wearing mask,
washing hands and vaccination
For a narrow escape...

Dear Dearth
Dear death

I'm sending my condolence to you
I'm telling you that it is enough
You took my brother
Now you took my son

I didn't want it to come this way but I am tired
Let talk about it men to men
Dont be proud of your cowardness
Death you coming to an end
I dont want to see you again

You did try me but I'm not scared of you
God is with me
I trust him
He is my friend...

forever ~ love relinquished at the pass!

The merriment not, but laughing, seal to last
a joy eternal, hope prithee to cast ~
my soul, now rent with sorrow, seams relapse
is broken down to virtue's homeless past ~

and mortifies with perish ~ where once basted!...

Premium Member Emptiness
I am full
Of emptiness
I long for longing
Crave contentment

The insensate pain
Of intangible touch
Indecipherable ciphers
Choreographed madness

Craggy comfort
Of blunt condolence
The decorum of anarchy
Deserted crowds, social solitude
Miles given to intercept steps

At the dawn of abundance
I see only
bones of ghosts
Whose meager admonishment
I forgot to unlearn

Unredeemed
And unrepentant
I am in love
With loneliness.

Premium Member This Could Have Been a Rhyme
What if these notes didn’t rhyme?
would you even take the ...moment?

Would you think they weren’t so witty,
and like the fool you’d give them ...condolence?

Sometimes I just can’t find the word
to rhyme with something that I’ve ...listened to.

And sometimes when I sit to write,
it doesn’t matter if morning or ...evening;

I can’t get past this writer’s block
and so I sit and stare at my ...watch.

Perhaps tomorrow I’ll find my mojo,
until then, I’ll be in my ...small room....
