This Could Have Been a Rhyme

What if these notes didn’t rhyme?
would you even take the ...moment?

Would you think they weren’t so witty,
and like the fool you’d give them ...condolence?

Sometimes I just can’t find the word
to rhyme with something that I’ve ...listened to.

And sometimes when I sit to write,
it doesn’t matter if morning or ...evening;

I can’t get past this writer’s block
and so I sit and stare at my ...watch.

Perhaps tomorrow I’ll find my mojo,
until then, I’ll be in my ...small room.

Carey: I did real well filling in the missing word until we came to "mojo". This was a "fun" piece. Keep them coming. oldbuck

Thanks for giving it a go, Old Buck! —It may be a bit of a stretch, but a "dojo" is a "hall or space for immersive learning or meditation." I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for letting me know. -Cary
