bears feast on salmon

cool morning drizzle

Paying for a procedure

these loathe baboons
brood their chaos

In their slaughtering houses

they see some rubble 

of a ruined love.
But not being above
they fail to see 
what we see
 
as from these tops; their spite are steps we scale to skies;

these tops, so cool 
and also true....

People sit close to the hearth burning fuel

The sky from a spell
Of ice salted dunes
Of threadbare cocoons
If there's a contrast
From future to past
The light sees it last

I breathe the allure
Of spaces obscure
Of nights darkly pure
Who else can I be
If I am not me
To straddle the sea
And follow the moon's
Melancholy tunes

It is gone. My house
Still stands amongst
Others though
Like hollow cocoons
They conceal their contents
Time was, in those days,
When fences were low
If non-existent
A time when doors
Were shut only to keep out
Mosquitoes and flies
From the evening meal
But now, it is lost
My home is no more
All I have left is a house....

yet clashes like oil and water.
I look at your smile like it’s the first one I’ve seen 
etched in my mind
Technicolor. 
I see you when I close my eyes.
I miss you in my sleep.
One day I will find what you represent.
The butterflies reverse to cocoons
but I find comfort in knowing they will emerge again soon.

Tracing his smile
If I were closer I would burrow 
Into his arms
Inhaling the dusty stars buried in his fleece
