Don’t you dare encroach,
your behavior is beyond reproach;
Seething and you still approach?
This space is mine damn cockroach.

Bullying

There is one thing that you should know:
Intimidation is a show
Although its not large
A cockroach will charge
A little BS helps things grow

Big Apple Birthday

When I made my birthday cake wish
A cockroach hopped onto my dish
More frisky than some
It looked rather glum
When it found the cake was not fish

Less Courageous

There was a young lady of Dhaka,
She was cutting a Paprika;
Suddenly she saw a cockroach,
She thought it was about to approach,
This courageous young lady of Dhaka.

The King's Pet Cockroach

The king's pet cockroach, a curious chap,
Swallowed a cat with a mighty snap.
Then it fainted away,
In a bug-sized dismay,
So the kingdom mourned for a week-long nap!

COCKROACH LOVERS

Mind:

If: you ever come across a cockroach lover, avoid them like mad
They are either so very weird or very desperately lonely and sad

Premium Member cockroach was styling

Cockroach was styling, in her element tonight
Wrapping her velvet cloak around her formal tight
The rest of the models stayed out of cockroach’s way
Knowing she will be left standing at the end of their day

The Cockroach Museum

Human beings are displayed beside the dinosaurs
in the museum built by cockroaches...

little did we know when we were around
that they would evolve to become the earth's stewards...

and do a much better job.

Premium Member Soupe Du Jour

A cockroach did some backstrokes in Clyde's soup

He was quite alarmed and thrown for a loop

      The waiter said no sweat

Sir, there's no need to fret

He won't consume very much of your soup

Film Noire

Drip, drip, dripping down
The moon it shimmers
In the blood that ripples
On the ground

Pink water
In the sink
A cockroach
On the wall

Sip, sip, sipping up
The whiskey from an
Old tin cup; one last
Gulp devours all

Now lay
Back and
Go to
Sleep

When Impossibilities Happen

Cockroach sat on heap of dung
Cock sat on the cockroach
Fox sat on the cock
Cheetah sat on the fox
Antelope sat on cheetah
King sat on slave-man
Baby came, to sit on king
“Treason, treason, treason”
Arrest, detain, interrogate”
Security guards, shouted loud

Nowhere To Go

I pause to my thoughts
Covered with a mist of sceptics
Sweating in fear
Like caught in a crocodiles' mouth
Left on a cross road"with out a
campus"
Nowhere to go
Only the sound of silence
And the small voices of wind
An ants journey which never ends
A cockroach without a head

Intrusion

"Gosh!,by heaven who is this again?"
He flew holding unto the wall as it's aid.
It leaped higher, when the light i on again.
He retrieved as the shadow fled.
My fist strucked the wall,
To have it on the tile fall.
But the more i hunt it,
The cockroach escapes it.

a sonnet

a sonnet

a cockroach is climbing up
the outer wall of the building
aiming for my open kitchen
window
when reaching the window
sill, I pushed back down
it landed on a flower bed
I sensed its resolve, no doubt
it will try again
when I'm frying fish  and
open the widow for the smell
it will make a move

My Adulterous Cat

Meeni slept in bed with a big brown cockroach
“It’s an adulatory, ", I went to broach
                                           She growled like panther
                                              "I love Mr. Gunther”
"Dad,go and bum around Miss Apricot Poach”

The American Cockroach

An interesting fact that I read
‘Bout the cockroach (American bred)
Is how it is unique;
It can live for a week
Even if it is missing its head.

For those people who live in much dread
Of these creatures and pray they’ve all fled,
There would still be a shriek
If one, headless, would streak
Since the best kind of cockroach is dead!

Premium Member When the Last Person Dies

It's lonely at the top
so join us at the bottom
No one sticks around when you flop
At number one they won't stop calling

To your own self be true
Lie to the world
Who made sadness blue
a top will twirl and twirl

Kiss your butt goodbye
We are our own kings
When the last person dies
the cockroach will reign

Premium Member cook and the cockroach

Cockroach germs come off their feet
Walking on used dishes with left over sweet
Cook goes after the bug with a yellow broom
Cockroach runs rapidly out of the kitchen room

Cook thinks everything will now be okay
Not knowing the roach laid forty eggs that day
in the cupboard under the kitchen sink
the eggs are cozy, sort of in the pink.

Were You There

When my Mother was killed?
Like a cockroach;
Schotched
She was butchered
Her name erased
From the book of life; expunged
Leaving us unaided
Orphaned
Disregarded, by people
Nobody pays heed
From dust we feed
Swimming in poverty
Famine attacks
Our life, full of strife
As we see her grave
Calling God to save
Our massacred Mother.

Premium Member Cockroach At the Right

A cockroach can be found on the right side of my screen. Crawling up and down, it is making quite a scene. I don’t want to see that repulsive thing anymore. What happened to the St. Ives woman who was here before? I think to display that cockroach here is very wrong. I cannot stay on this page for very long. This is a poem. Did you expect a song?

Premium Member Not Even a Cockroach

     Neither despise any man
nor detest anything, even in the sand

For every man has his moment in the sun
everything a purpose in the long run …

Once I thought – but not a cockroach
       execrable bug beyond reproach

Yet I've learned from neuroscience podcasters
You can Ai-wire ‘em to rescue victims of disasters

List of Difficulties

Woman who doesn't have
fear of cockroach ...
man who supports
well the pain ...
Nervous to become silent,
shy to be super speaker ...
serious to smile,
unsmiling have
loose laughter ...
Listen to the snake chirp ...
Cow coughing and ox flying,
christened horse attend
the mass,
battle horse
to fight...
Jaguar do
the nails,
mooing bullfrog,
ancient cock command ...
