Chicago
carriages run through your magnificent mile
a reflecting bean - a spaceship in your town
wonderfully strange, blue-faced men making music
your wind blows, shikaakwa, let me love you divine....

Risky mountain rolling up and down
Touching the clouds the skies rounds
Tandem carriages of muted babies
Nightmares holding seniors and children maybes
Bottoms of lakes and seas dawn
Lightening flashes dart and run

Sandy Steam Train
Clickety clack, clickety clack,
Carriages coming along the track,
An old steam train puffing smoke,
Carrying plenty of country folk.

Steaming around another bend,
Sandy's journey coming to an end,
Her whistle blowing, announcing to all,
She's making one last station call....

The World Emoji Day
Blinking characters
Silent speakers

Awesome images
Emotional carriages

Beautiful thoughts
Words fought and mutes sought

Hiding behind hands
To make its own stands

The shy faces
Gladly embraces

While chatting
To avoid combatting...

A Spanner In the Works
A spanner in the works

I have dislike of all royalty who stole the people's land
Their acolytes were given titles to ensure their loyalty.
Privileged aristocracy, the guardian of transformation
Modern days robber baron is a continuum to be sure
The people walk alongside gilded horse-drawn carriages
Cap-in-hand, wave flags and accept their lowly life....

Little Red Trolley
In the heat and rain , upon tracks rusted and bare
A little red trolley sits, remembering former days
Of horse drawn carriages, filled with new marriages
Of clanging bells and merry people,
Doing chores,or walking into stores
Rolling hills and long tall steeples
Weathered stones in grass covered cemeteries
Busy times filled with haunted memories
Rising from the haze of long forgotten days...

The Holocaust
Lest we forget
The face of evil
And deny the truth
Of history
Remember the victims
Who suffered and died;
Tormented, persecuted,
Dispossessed, taken captive,
Herded like animals
Into the crowded carriages
And transported
To the Nazi death camps.

             Remember them

             Remember them...

Making Sense
sensible version of yesterday's stress induced strange poem

I'm all swirled up, whilst sat so still
Jarred and jostled
By jolts of half formed thoughts
Tumultuous yet trying to be gentle
With myself
Who I vowed to be kind to

As adrenaline travels from vein to brain
Attacking little carriages
Of troubles like the Highway Man
Demanding fight, flight, freeze or fawn
The new version of the tale
For the anxious era...

Blue Mist
Early morning wind,
Reflection,
Sparkles the soft dew,
Operatic larks croon,
Silent fading moon,
Young minds occupied,
Triumphant,
Eyes glare,
Noise,
Iron carriages unaware,
Relinquish the thought.

The great deity has chosen,
Now,
Friends of the morning depart with a frown,
No knowledge,
No pain,
No thoughts of why,
Onward from mortal life,
Unto paradise they safely fly.

Into the Eyes
When I look into the eyes of the young,
I saw futuristic vehicles gliding
past their old and withered bodies

When I looked into the eyes of the old,
I saw carriages, majestically hobbling the streets,
Horse-drawn and noisome,
fear in the eyes of the young

When I looked into the face of the clock,
I saw my own reflection,
ticking away its life
in shuttered motion

When I looked into my face I saw white eyes
in withered casing...

Premium Member Night Springs To Life
A winter's evening darkly glows
Midst freshly fallen flakes of snow
Cityscapes sparkle, and glisten
  Music's everywhere, just listen

Night springs to life, traffic snarls and darts
As horse-drawn carriages, white stallions smart
and dapper trot briskly by on moonlit stones
While nearby tides rush in on thrones

Just then it is my thoughts set sail
O'er waves of delicate, deep desires
     Passion's vessels lifted higher......

The Innocent Burial
A sacred sacrifice
Had tampered fates
Befell on those whose glory one relayed
A heavenly fruit in disguise poisoned the king that ostracized

The lesson learnt was soon forgotten
Brought another fellow beast to life
Carriages covered in lavender leaves
Strangled the malicious monarch that used to greed

The innocent one had emerged
But it seemed as if the stars had cursed
Baby Luke was burnt to death
Only if the fates had been reset...

The Russian Palace
Far from harsh reality
Of cruel peasant life
Gilded surroundings
Of smooth parquet floors
Damask-lined walls
Crystal chandeliers
The background music of
Imperial fountains
Soothed the nobility at Peterhof
St. Peterburg's bow to Versailles;
Carriages and troikas
Moved elegantly, smartly
Conveying crowned heads
Seeking favor from the tsar
In a great hall now guarded
By old Russian babas
Nodding, fighting sleep
As they glare at the tourists....

Indy's White River
Indianapolis welcomes you.
Navigate, find your place, sailing through
synthetic waterway just for fun.
Off’ring journeys with anecdotes,
carriages, kayaks and pedal boats
worthwhile way to enjoy snow or sun.

We'll park your vehicle, while you fete
with friends, fam'ly, or special date.
Hire out a gondolier; he can hunt
for local sites, you don't want to miss -
hideaways where you can reminisce,
use Indy’s canal at Riverfront.

Blind Mind, Avoid
Let the sun blinds the blind man
And carriages with the wind
The hidden path, the unholy rises
While that Eagle is wandering by.

Let the moon while I scope
To watch the mourning birds create
The pounding on the fall stone
The weight I dance.

Let the plum buffalo comes to me
In dream, in smoke, in stars and rain, I don't care
As a great man to be and said:

	"Welcome, my skinny bone,
And show me where is the way I shall dehorn.
Because I don't want leave any trace behind!...

Premium Member I Am But a Flag
I have caressed
in coffin draped hugs
those who defended me,
hung limply as taps
and tears flowed
across generations.
Known the thrill
of fireworks and jubilation
rose, full faced,
in sundrenched
wind starched glory.
Wept in “half staffed” darkened loneliness
as horse drawn carriages
moved through silenced crowds.
I am neither a cause
nor a solution
but a symbol
of our best….and worst.

I am but a flag.
I look to you
to raise me up.

This Side of the Sunset
Afore twilight winged bugs
Come to rest
On a gently rippling creek
Where placid mists acquiesced
And one horse carriages so sleek
Surrendered humanity’s finest
Midnight sons to seek
Their customary agonist
So renowned they were to sneak

Neither humility nor unheard cries
Echo past the shop displays
Beyond the attendant sunrise
An unsightly game
It remains the same
All in a daze
For everyone sighs
And closes his eyes
In so many ways
And in so many days
Society dies...
