earth's splendor wakens
aurora borealis
empty vessels filled.

Aurora
Mesmerized by her
Cascades of dazzling colours
Aurora dances

Theme:Aurora Borealis
Greens attached to clouds swirling
Cameras snapping with eyes gazing
Awe running though the mind intriguing
Capturing a moment in time never returning
the oracles of light
a symphony in sight
transform herself
into the Aurora Borealis
let down her maple hair
we share the
same starry night
aurora borealis renews polar bear’s hopes
her children and mate float into mind’s eye
this world is better than that one,
no climate change here
do not fear your transition
One item that I have on my bucket list
is to eyewitness first hand an aurora borealis.
I imagine that it must be a most awesome sight
to observe in the twilight the northern lights.
lights
northern
aurora
goddess of dawn
borealis north
bright dancing bands of light
displays of many colors
shooting rays that light up the sky
when a clear night is at its darkest
on a winter's eve
in the far reach of the north
I saw my heaven
colors, oh colors
defying reality
dance across the sky
scientific terms
that cannot explain magic
the" northern lights" show
From vacuum of space - aurora borealis - sings in quiet solitude.

Beautiful butterfly, Maureen!
Serendipitous creativity sails
on chromatic borealis seas
brevity breathes longevity.

Tribute to Maureen McGreavy
multi-coloured lights
searching the northern sky
aurora borealis
the setting sun
painting the evening sky
in colours of the rainbow
the glory of the cosmos
unending in space and time
how miraculous!
Refracting morn's light
Aurora Borealis
Beauty touched spirit
Sunrays pierce trees through forest
Moment captured forever

When I was wee living in my Montreal palace?
It was a huge event to witness the Aurora Borealis
It was really majestic
To us rookies 'twas a kick
An extra special event that borealled our allises
Aurora said to Borealis
the fools down there
they think were playing,
why don't they know
that we're just dancing,
simply dancing with old Sol
whose plasma skirt sets us twirling
across the atmosphere?
Ghostly slivers of light
Flickering through the night sky
Ever constant unaffected
Whether we live or we die
Down below we gaze in awe
At the night's graceful show
Milling about like cattle
Mindless of where we go
Form:
Red and green hues light the sky at night, making hissing sounds
Unbelievable, their movements cascading and delighting us
Northern lights it has been called; the Aurora Borealis.

magic skies blue sea
beautiful lights are trailing
sailing at midnight
colors everywhere
time's come to the mellow hour
when all dreams flower
glory of nighttime
absent sun spreads such splendor
looks like smooth sailing
When northern Auroras inspire us,
It’s best not to be too inquirous.
Each red or green clot
Seems ablaze, but it’s snot—
Poor Rudolph is fighting a virus.

A yellow moon rises huge
over great rafts of tundra
near the seventieth parallel:
twelve hundred miles to the Pole.
Under a faint Borealis
a young grey wolf drinks
from a long tire pond
on the road once used
as a shortcut to Sitka
The subtle beauty of the Aurora Borealis
So stunning it almost takes your breath away
An avalanche of quickly changing colors
As if fairy sprites in delighted mischief play

Listen to poem:
The crux of light lies,
deep within its flux of afterglow,
in limbo.
Its will-o'-the-wisp,
Aurora Borealis, and St Elmo's Fire,
Its split into rainbow,
Its red shifts in time travel.
All its enigmas within, urge us to set,
the aftermath of shadows, aglow.
When the solar winds stir magic
Unleashed beauty a riot of colour
It undulates and swells, ecstatic
In darkness I stand and wonder
Colours sublime capture my mind
Turmoil of life far, far away
Life on hold not counting time
Arura Borealis forever and a day
Aurora.
The night made a celestial event,
The ciel shimmering into millions particles of stardust,
Ice reminiscing it’s marvellous creations ,
The exquisite green-blue-pink rainbow glory hovering the borealis,
The only thing that stops heart at first sight: Aurora Borealis.
Of burning sight, we grow the flora,
From dancing light of my aurora.
A stunted garden, met with showers,
Brought to bloom, bouquet of flowers.
In casting passion, bright the sky,
Of green and blue we share an eye.
The way of stars and trees alike,
Through boreal we join and hike.
Either like, delicate and light,
Tenuous as a starry night.
Heightened particles trick the eye,
Etching colored waves in the sky.
Ribbons of lights dance in the air,
Ethereal, beyond compare.
Aurora Borealis, a
Laudable spectacle per say.
