Aurora Borealis

Greens attached to clouds swirling
Cameras snapping with eyes gazing
Awe running though the mind intriguing
Capturing a moment in time never returning

Premium Member Just Dancing

Aurora said to Borealis
the fools down there
they think were playing,
why don't they know
that we're just dancing,
simply dancing with old Sol
whose plasma skirt sets us twirling
across the atmosphere?

Aurora Borealis

Ghostly slivers of light
Flickering through the night sky
Ever constant unaffected
Whether we live or we die
Down below we gaze in awe
At the night's graceful show
Milling about like cattle
Mindless of where we go

Northern Lights

Red and green hues light the sky at night, making hissing sounds
Unbelievable, their movements cascading and delighting us
Northern lights it has been called; the Aurora Borealis.

Reindeer Borealis

When northern Auroras inspire us,
It’s best not to be too inquirous.
   Each red or green clot
   Seems ablaze, but it’s snot—
Poor Rudolph is fighting a virus.

Borealis

A yellow moon rises huge
over great rafts of tundra
near the seventieth parallel:
twelve hundred miles to the Pole.
Under a faint Borealis
a young grey wolf drinks
from a long tire pond
on the road once used
as a shortcut to Sitka

Premium Member Playing With Colors

The subtle beauty of the Aurora Borealis
So stunning it almost takes your breath away
An avalanche of quickly changing colors
As if fairy sprites in delighted mischief play

Listen to poem:
The crux of light lies,
deep within its flux of afterglow,
in limbo.
Its will-o'-the-wisp,
Aurora Borealis, and St Elmo's Fire,
Its split into rainbow,
Its red shifts in time travel.
All its enigmas within, urge us to set,
the aftermath of shadows, aglow.

Aurora

Aurora.

The night made a celestial event,
The ciel shimmering into millions particles of stardust,
Ice reminiscing it’s marvellous creations ,
The exquisite green-blue-pink rainbow glory hovering the borealis,
The only thing that stops heart at first sight: Aurora Borealis.

Premium Member Northern Light

Of burning sight, we grow the flora,
From dancing light of my aurora.
A stunted garden, met with showers,
Brought to bloom, bouquet of flowers.

In casting passion, bright the sky,
Of green and blue we share an eye.
The way of stars and trees alike,
Through boreal we join and hike.
Form: Rhyme

Premium Member Ethereal

Either like, delicate and light,
Tenuous as a starry night.
Heightened particles trick the eye,
Etching colored waves in the sky.
Ribbons of lights dance in the air,
Ethereal, beyond compare.
Aurora Borealis, a
Laudable spectacle per say.
