The Cut

When two decide to set each other free, to break and part,
The cut runs not between but deeply through each lover bleeding heart.

if we could
would we still
claim the spoils

bleeding heart
bears witness
to its death

Breach in the heart ditchs
Like a deep seated puncture
Bleeding with life blood
Until regaining healing
With restorative mending

The Final Command

Stop.
This heart from beating,
Two.

Leave.
This girl bleeding,
Blue.

Forget.
This beating, bleeding heart that once beat and bled for
You.

Conscience seems
not to be
characteristic
of my breed
what I dare say
is common sense
appears to elude
the free
while I
awestruck
my heart enraged
is chained
to every tree.

The Strangest Fruits Are Vegetables

My art on the tomb walls

Ventriloquism for the bored and the dying

Coffins nailed to this pale stricken plot

The blink blink wink of a bleeding heart

For all the world to see.

Premium Member if I was a Flower

If I was a flower
I would not be a bleeding heart
They are too petite and delicate

I could be a zinnia
colorful, substantial and perky
but I am kind of prickly
a happy large face Kansas sunflower

Unraveling

Grasping at straws
In hopes to cope
Collecting flaws
A heavy cloak

One by one
She picks apart
Goals, undone
Bleeding heart

A homely sight
She has become
Though options bright
She’s come undone

For Her

I would rip open my chest and reveal my bleeding heart
Stand unwavering, torn apart
Naked as my soul
Raw as the bitter cold I felt before you
To prove that I am real
I'd bare it all if only to help you heal

He has a black heart
I stay away
His heart is blue
Ditto

She has a pink heart
I imagine love
She is a bleeding heart
I do not want to admit that I am too

She has an Irish heart
I stick around to see
If it is me

Cardiology

A bleeding heart
A seeking heart
A lonely heart
A 'When will I ever find love?' heart

A change of heart

A joyful heart
A 'Finally after all this time' heart
An 'I'm the happiest girl in the world' heart
An 'I do' heart

the artist put paint on a blank sheet,
a deep crimson red was so concrete.
which flowed out, a grim work of art,
can be compared to my bleeding heart.

Silent

Floating in emptiness
Cold like ice
All around pettiness
Feels just right

Grip grabs tighter
It's falling apart
Look the outsider
With bleeding heart

Finally it's silent
Lasting for eternity
Finally, finally silence
Looking for harmony

Bleeding Heart

Tear dropping
As the valley dries
Memories fading
Mind corrupting
Remembering nothing
Only the sound of footsteps
As the back despair

Left with nothing
Only a bleeding heart
With no arm to rest on

Such is life
But never wished for such

BLeeding words
Left untoLd

BLeeding spirit
BLeeding mind
BLeeding memories
Left behind

BLeeding shadows

in ink of bLoodred rain...!!

Despair and Extinction

Candle burning, at both ends
Spend it all, fast as it spends

Despairing, dying, bleeding heart
Cry for mercy, get torn apart

Shattered world, broken sky
Cataclysm coming, we all shall die

Ticking bomb, dwindling time
Destroy the Earth, our final crime

I Need Help

Yo, I need help
My brain’s feeding on itself from the inside-out
I’m here
Bleeding heart and all
Shown to hell
Now I can’t escape my past
Tears falling on my guitar

Yo, I need help
Blood seeping through my hands
Mind locked out of reality
Just for
Love

Premium Member The Waltz Of A Bleeding Heart

I only wanted a love,
And to fall in love with you;
I’m closing the door,
Just one time more,
To leave you in the rear view.

I desired to be about you,
Not wanting to live without you;
You’re a woman, so pretty,
It’s no mystery;
I thought I had found you –
