Truth
Sometimes
Is a
bitter pill
To swallow
But after
Absorbing
It has the
Power
To reach
The heart
of healing
The bitter cold day
we run to escape its claws;
Falling at its feet
frozen in the air like ice,
Our screams only heard by Spring
Age is a weary and bitter cure.
Young women are now immune to my infectious charms…
the fevers of Youth have broken!
Bitter coffee notes,
strawberries, habaneros;
A mixed aroma;
It smells like when you are here
but still cannot feel my gaze.
Tossing as much positivity,
into the air,
as possible,
to sugarcoat all,
the bitter negativity inside,
will leave,
a cavity.
