Interesting... I'd kind of forgotten what the 'original muffler' was. Thanks for the reminder... Ready for this? A person sees what he wants to see, as my wife always tells me: When I looked at the title of this senryu, I saw 'Swallowed Swans.' Boy, was I surprised!... in a good way. Thanks, Milt.

and for those of us who are mostly deaf. I wear hearing aids now, but for many years I read lips. Masks would've really shut me out.

We have this all day long at our school, for we are all wearing masks including the preschoolers. I can relate.
