Bitter is the wind this night
which tosses up the ocean tide
see how it opens up the floodgates

This makes me wonder what you were thinking to write of the floodgates! A nice poem, Debbie. I would call it a small free verse poem!

Debbie, I think we haven't seen anything yet. Since oceans will rise and the planet will get warmer. This could also be a comment on crying. You are very observant and plugged into what's going on!

† Always Seems To Be Something 'Bitter' Going On In This World ? No Matter How Hard We Wish, It Just Never Seems To Subside These, Darkened Tides, Sweet Beautiful Debbie ˜ One Day 'They' Most Surely Shall Although, Then, There Will Only Be Joy Love Peace Tranquillity ˜ Angels Ascending Descending This, Our Glory's Stairway To, 'Heaven' * Good To Read You Again And May These Profound Words Bring Forth Light ˜ Love, John
