The voice of a Poet,
the breath of a Child
The curse of the Devil
—forever beguiled
(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2017)
Black-eyed double cross
big trouble inkblot marriage
pick up the peaces?
malevolent storm mistress
beguiled mean streets surrender
The voice of a Poet,
the breath of a child
The curse of the Devil
—forever beguiled
(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2017)
Media mush call Omicron "mild"
But its victims are not so beguiled
An hospital bed
Puts them in the red
And spoils Christmas for many a child!
Wonder Woman, Blondie, and Daisy
Are ladies who drive a man crazy
Large bust, tiny waist
No need to be chaste
Yet beguiled by men who are lazy!
A magnetic stare
Eyes that look deep
Deeper into my soul
Caught under your spell
Always and forever.
Bite Size Poem no.16 Poetry Contest
Breathless and beguiled
Nature blankets my lone dreams
Swallowing me whole

For Mr. Moreno's Haiku contest
sunburst chromatic spray
blazed rose petals fold dew pearls…
butterflies beguiled

For A Brian Strand Hiku Contest
Whirlpool of colors
Beguiled by vibrant colors butterfly flutters in perplexity.

Beguiled breeze braces
tuneful drizzle of twilight,
symphony echoes in pool.
Rippling rhapsody
rolls in silent melody
with sunset in purple pond.
You are my beguiling barn owl
You make me to scream and howl
and when your aloof
i don't give it a hoot
and i long to caress your soft jowls!
Laughter hides more dread than tears
joy conceals a lasting fear
Fate to haunt each moment wished
—love beguiled with every tryst
(Dreamsleep: August, 2022)
Jake the jokester was so mean
He liked to make his sister moan,
Until one night beneath the moon
Jake was beguiled to better mood.
He now finds joy in being good.
Form:
I was beguiled;
you were then
a flower child;
veiled in Cyclamen
opus of allure;
siren to men.
I stared, unsure;
unabashed, you smiled,
our thoughts, impure.
A besmitten, besotted young miss
was beguiled by the man of her sis
though betwixt and between
will her lust cause a scene?
She cared not, and blew him a big kiss!
A fickle young gardener called Burt,
Changed ladies much more than his shirt!
Until he beguiled
A vixen so wild
He's now planted deep in the dirt!

Bless you my child who is so meek and mild,
Instead of wild and defiled who had beguiled;
A darling dear,
We want near,
So many more great poems she compiled.

Another boy at the high school dance
Seeking love and a little romance
Then the cutest girl smiled
And I bowed quite beguiled
But it ripped out the seat of my pants
Fake Data Trump Compiled
Only fake data Trump has compiled;
By him we often have been beguiled;
Know a nitwit,
Who had a fit;
He always does act like a little child.

Suffer most, who have more
Subtle beguiled
For each soft-eyed animal
Woman and child.
By hand, word, unfeeling.
Even a look.
Whose helpless needs, touch God's heart
By man forsook.
Left or right
the noise drones on
Distractions prized,
the message gone
What’s right is right
unless it’s left
The truth beguiled
—our soul’s bereft
(Dreamsleep: June, 2022)
Two sisters sit beguiled in common guilt;
all that is left.
That
and denials;
bitterness
turned outwards;
inwards too painful.
Truth, a casualty
like lost children.
Love, just a word.
Sphere and Did Disappear
Of influence was not sure of which sphere,
Each had belonged to even there or here;
When beguiled;
A problem child,
We saw success when they did disappear.

Why Will We Be Afraid
Why is it that we will be always afraid;
Jesus was born and in a manger laid;
A kind child,
Who never beguiled;
God in heaven has place for us made.
