Go Figure

Wonder Woman, Blondie, and Daisy
Are ladies who drive a man crazy
Large bust, tiny waist
No need to be chaste
Yet beguiled by men who are lazy!

Of course, who were drawing those comic books?

Artists who knew 1940-1950 fashions, when an 18" or 19" waist was the ideal (but most were a cinched 23/24 inches, hence the wide belt). Aloha! Rico

I saw a British comic strip of little boys showing off their equipment to a little girl and bragging that she didn't have one, so her bubble said, "But I have one of these, and with one of these, I can get all of those I want!" Keep smiling! Aloha! Rico

Quite true, e.g., Blondie reads books whilst Dagwood either sleeps, eats, or watches TV! Aloha! Rico

The "funny papers" are not that funny! What buxom blonde would be attracted to those original couch potatoes, L'l Abner, Dagwood, or Beetle Bailey? Aloha! Rico
