babbling brook
poetry
in motion
plant a seed
earth is moist
love must grow
smile on face
big secret
not sharing
Silver glistening on clear water
Trickling babbling brook carries leaves down stream
Water defrosts as the seasons change
thankful for God’s gift
babbling springs of clear water
no longer thirsting

sublime inner peace

This lovely bird!
Have you seen him
At your window?
Have you heard?
His sweet singing in forests
Not babbling! To you
Spill the beans.
When magpies' crackle joins the song
Another answers from below--
That neighing horse completes the verse
Until loud winds hush gossip's row.
babbling brook flows -
gently down the outcrop stream -
musical journey
Still lakes can listen
A babbling brook cannot hear
Cast your words with care
Into this sea of people
The source, the flow, from the mouth
A babbling tongue,
Is like a weapon of mass destruction;
It indiscriminately destroys,
And disables, with harsh words,
Those targets, who to it,
Are of no consequence.
Guess one could say this guy's prolific
Turning out poems in my hieroglyphics
Perhaps misunderstood
Been since boyhood
Sometimes babbling on bout dipsticks
Guess one could say this guy's prolific
Turning out poems in my hieroglyphics
Perhaps misunderstood
Been since boyhood
Just babbling on bout nothing specific
Fallen Autumn leaves know the babbling water's dialect,
the language of the mute stream, Socratic running of its mouth.
Pretzeled on a stump, I dream what horrors and wonders I've missed.

From aquifer be low
Break surface
Babbling babbling upwell
Plumos in addy.
Purest Earthblood
Clear clean simplicity
Flow cool and true
Always your level
Quietly condially unremitting
Clad in beauty of babbling brooks
The rustling trees, the smiling flowers
Like a skylark his words fly higher and higher
His poems smile and say YES
To the spring sky, freedom and tenderness
There once was a newborn named Maxi,
Who forewent a stork for a taxi,
But as he could not yet walk,
And bubble-babbling was his talk,
Driver gave him to a new mama in the Back Seat.
the babbling brook
so cold took breath
dropped book in shock
fish nibbling toes
away goes stress
I doze on bank

Conversed with one who talked gobbledygook,
his mouth overflowed like a babbling brook,
so while his words don't impress
I had to escape this mess...
Excuse me, your fly is undone - just look!
a river called Peace
that's flowing through
babbling sound, sparkling blue
ever gently over the rocks
ever careful, how you walk
immerse yourself, don't be afraid
let the Peace flow over you
in june wilderness
flitting across babbling brook ~

eyes see the golden
squirrel chitter-chattering
uncover his nuts

let still babbling
forward paws unearthing such
near noon must be lunch

Brook
Babbling brook
Flows down
Calm
In sunshine
Ripples shine
Clear
Pebbles glow
As gems
Low
Butterflies
Birds chirp
Close
Wild soft ferns
Sways side
Flux

Given I've cursed myself
writing the title first,
I'll treat myself to a scribble,
poorly written, pointless lines
babbling, bubbling sloppily,
like those people I envy,
cranking it out without thought
sit down by the bridge
listen to the babbling brook
close my eyes and dream
imagine fairies dancing
and riding the backs of fish
