Joan of Arc would never bark
A command out on a lark
But would save the day
In a saintly way
Forever leaving her mark
The two colors clings
Purple and white interlace
As a triumph arc
Witnessing the promises
Uttered to the blue ether

Epigram #369:
ARC
Start from the heart to live each day,
Make love fond art in arc of play.

Beneath the vivid rainbow's arc, a pastel shadow was cast aground.

stelliferous arcs,
of chiffon-sewn cosmic chains
and rose-glazed silk yarns...
a tapestry of crystal ~
love-tendrils on eden's heart...
There was a lady named Joan of Arc.
Who, so sadly, was lit by a spark.
It's too bad that she died,
but let's see the bright side.
She magnificently glowed in the dark.
May calm descend where restless hearts reside
And voices rise in harmony not strife
Let mercy guide the steps of every side
And sow the seeds of peace throughout our life
The crackling flames that scorched her flesh
and choking, blinding clouds of smoke
were not enough to sway her faith
as, bound, she died upon the coke.

Monocrostic (Birthday of Charlene D. Pacheco)
Travelling through life resembles an arc
We start out as a child emerging from the dark
To reach a crescendo
Establishing a tempo
Then sadly we all must eventually disembark

this mystic arc
above the bridge
fogged rims
from river’s edge
alluring eyes
to wind down
the fragmented
edges and plunge
upon its icy depths
my eyes
cast off
like shadows
towards
an ashen sky
instead
(Bus scribbles)
Ready your start
Sparkle and twinkle shine like the sun
Spread love through everyone
Looked within the light
You saw what was right
Diamond of the night
Your moon shines bright
Time to foster and grow
You have reached the end of your rainbow
A shimmering arc of whiteness spreads its
eagle wings, overarching and embracing
the sky, soaring into the sunset
If you were not perfect, I would
run after you, down to the seashore, splashing,
yawping to the tops of heaven till breathless,
“TAKE AWAY MY DESIRES!”
...Some would long debate the whole raid,
say the arc was now truly lost,
others would say a museum piece
was never worth such a high cost.
I suppose those questions will rage,
on the net it gets rather loud,
but Alice pays no heed to it,
I hear she’s a minister now…
An angel's carpet dream
woven in the sky; amidst the clouds
a true utopian abode, a perfect oddity
Somewhere on the monochrome rainbow
little miss sunshine cry
failed to awe the morning blend
And the human, waits.
for the clarity of their mind,
a manifestation of eternal question
JOAN OF ARC
She earned the name
this woman
this welder
full leathers
shield in place
stinger
wielded with precision
smooth, molten slashes
melding cold iron
into heated union.
Joan of Arc!!
Don’t look directly at her
you may be smitten
by her welders flash.

Want to sway with the tree tops
want to race the raindrop down the pane
The day is solid and nighttime almost invisible
mist eats the land
nothing more than nothing
less ponders more
anger bites my lip
and pain ebbs easy with the little blinks
depression hides behind the eyes
that seldom interact
with smiles
a Freudian arc.
A wondrous arc, I beheld
Perfection in its form,
From what hand, or artists brush
Was such beauty born.
The teachers tell us what it is,
Just raindrops and refraction.
But my romantic heart,
Sees heavenly interaction.

A fine face is a mirror, A good smile is its arc, Courage is its armour, Emotion is its architect
Simple maid, comes to an aid
Simple girl, full of pearl
Simple dream, captured with esteem
Little heart full of caring strength
Little hands leading an army
Little legs leading to victories
Build as a saint, dressed in sword
Build a lasting legacy, for His Glory
Build to aid, the maid of Orleans

Listen to poem:
fall down, up again —
smooth stone skips across the pond
each strike rings louder
on its own trajectory
vaulting bouncing once again
bamboo bends in wind
its defiance scars its skin
but it sways unbowed
dancing with rhythm resilient
on seesaw swinging wide ride
taste ash on my tongue
before the fire sets ablaze
to embrace failure
in bread of my own making
kneading loaves for noble rise
That face and form are burned so deep into my brain,
that my sight seems permanently impaired;
somehow, that image's a looming silhouette
that appears wherever I look
Like the dot that seems to block out all else
after staring into the sun,
I see glimmers of it in every crowd I walk through,
every face I pass, everywhere I turn, every time I dream
How I long to see clearly,
how I long to forget
that I looked too long,
into the sun
Dawn’s Joyful Arc
The old bridge is gone
as is the rapid chatter
destiny’s wheels,
steel on steel progress
streaming a black ribbon
of hope’s hubris.
The river rose up –
a revolt against
the cold black film –
perhaps. More likely
in self defense
as empty words
now filled the silence.
A swan sits upon
a mounded nest
eyeing the muskrat.
In the mist
dawns joyful arc
bridges the river.

Sunlight filtered through crystal ice in high cirrus clouds,
Prisms warped the heavens in bending furnace grace,
Rainbow blanket curled about the canvas of the cosmos,
At twenty thousand feet or more upon the rim of space.
Cathedral window abstract blazed a stained glass panorama,
Once upon a wondrous dusk infused with magic eyes,
A sprawling beauty, soul of God, exposed in radiant blaze,
A brief and rare reminder of how nature rules the skies.
