Circumhorizon Arc

Sunlight filtered through crystal ice in high cirrus clouds,
Prisms warped the heavens in bending furnace grace,
Rainbow blanket curled about the canvas of the cosmos,
At twenty thousand feet or more upon the rim of space.

Cathedral window abstract blazed a stained glass panorama,
Once upon a wondrous dusk infused with magic eyes,
A sprawling beauty, soul of God, exposed in radiant blaze,
A brief and rare reminder of how nature rules the skies.
