Jehanne of Arc

Simple maid, comes to an aid
Simple girl, full of pearl 
Simple dream, captured with esteem

Little heart full of caring strength 
Little hands leading an army
Little legs leading to victories

Build as a saint, dressed in sword
Build a lasting legacy, for His Glory
Build to aid, the maid of Orleans

Her French name is actually Jeanne d'Arc, but you are writing an English poem, so it's okay to call her Joan of Arc. Arc is a town so is not written in capitals after the first letter. Njeri Hunjeri September 3, 2015 at 7:35 PM Hi Julia..as i was researching about Joan i learned that her medieval name is Jehanne and so i wanted to go with that name. I hope the sponsor is not going to mind it since its the same name of the same person. My capitalization of the name arc was just my art. Nothing special to it. Am glad i entered this contest coz i learnt about someone that i hadn't heard about before. Thank u Julia
