at midnight
when the moon
glows bright
she rises
from the depths
bearing
aquamarine
jewels
from the sea

Aquamarine, winks.
     Observing them, they do blink.
     A possum, just thinks.

The Salt In the Air

Aquamarine seas
   Sweet salty winds invite me
      Have I found Heaven?

gazing wistfully
through a deep mysterious ocean door
into a swimming dream of you and me
a confluence of what maybe was
and what might have been

carrying with it the glitter of the sun

Aquamarine

Moments of sadness
Where have you gone?
You never were mine
So self, carry on
Time is a healer
Great wounds cauterize
But scars will reopen
When I think of those eyes

Friendship's Kindling

Yellow is your favorite color like the sun
while Aquamarine is mine like the sea
kindling our inseparable bond
like the sunrise and sunset
bursting over our warm tropical horizon

She

she is the sea and she moves me.
she makes sand hearts with her sun hands
she fills me up and unfolds me
she lets me see inside her
she shows me worlds of water
she is my aquamarine dream

Premium Member Aquamarine Sea

aquamarine sea
                                            quiescent in the midday
                                             combines with the sky

Waves are crashing on a white sandy shore, as sea gulls drift, float over waves then soar; I touch the cool aquamarine water ... my mother's whisper, "be careful daughter. "

Aquamarine waves
lap pristine rugged shorelines
casting call for beat
bohemic coral ballets
hip sandy beach applause

Listen to poem:
It lies in between two moods,
with sighs of seas, and breath of skies,
not quite green, with a little dose of blue,
a mid-dream hue, for dainty touch-ups,
to revitalise those bluesy daubs and splashes

Premium Member I dream in aquamarine

memories of an exotic sun rippled sea
as undulating waves caress a warm beach
i see colours scintillating, bleached
this brings forth images of paradise
and means sublime happiness to me

Sun slips across on aquamarine canvas Over oak trees laden with Spanish moss, While hawks and vultures circle overhead Seeking prey among the grazing cattle.

Agua Marina

A shade of purity, but with a hint of notoriety. Deceptive but innocently, Aquamarine, like you, I live up to be. Peace you may bear, but chaos I can bare. Clear blue eyes, virtuously hiding lies.

Premium Member Sandstone Rough Shale Cool

Sandstone, rough, gritty.
Shale. Cool, layered, shelved.
Beryl. Ugly but if you can keep it for a million years
You will have emerald and aquamarine from beryl.
I am staring at my piece now, watching it not change.

Early morning is the perfect time to walk the beach, the cool water licks at my feet. The soft sand is like walking on a pillow, pretty seashells yell-pick me up. My day started off with a bit of heaven on earth.

Ocean Within

Within my body there is an ocean
I can feel the waves crashing against
the chambers of my heart
and the currents rushing down my spine
My body from the inside is painted aquamarine
while the ocean's music perform
inside of my lungs

            Aquamarine ! Whelming colour
            soothing soul, sublime serene !
Splash of sea green waves enchants,
            mesmerises, makes mind frolic fresh.
Horizon , coloured in ocean water pacifying.

Premium Member Glancing on Nature

I lifted my face up and looked into sky,
Reveling in its aquamarine shade.
Stellar fragments afloat in the immensity high.

Inhaled beauty and exhaled toxic fumes.
Nature with its variety, my eyes did invade.
Seemed a peacock in strut plumes.

By the sea I become immersed
in that flash of aquamarine.
Bubblegum and blisters go burst,
by the sea I become immersed.
Diving into the waves headfirst,
nature's worth a view in widescreen.
By the sea I become immersed
in that flash of aquamarine.

Azurite and Aquamarine

Today I wish I can go to the beach
and sit on the wooden swing
hovering back and forth above the sea
so I can let go of the rope and soar mid air
and let my veins feel the ocean vibes
of the azurite and aquamarine waves
racing down the slide of my narrow spine
