Notes About The Poem

JULY-6-2026

Bite Size Contest. No. 148

Sponsor- Line Gauthier

Glancing on Nature

I lifted my face up and looked into sky,
Reveling in its aquamarine shade.
Stellar fragments afloat in the immensity high.

Inhaled beauty and exhaled toxic fumes.
Nature with its variety, my eyes did invade.
Seemed a peacock in strut plumes.

Strange I was looking at a peacock lately. Saw some of your lovely photos too. Your poem is delightful.

Beautifully composed poem that compels the reader to linger in its embrace. You created a work of beauty and nature with just six lines, Valsa. This is a trophy winner in my eyes.
