At times, they come so few and far between...
my heart stops still until they start again.
Eyes open in the dark, I calmly wait
until I know for sure that all is fine.

Those seconds that creep by are difficult...
I panic, as they seem to last so long. 
Then, suddenly...release from Apnea...
sound of his breaths...such music to my ears.
