I haven't written a poem all week
though I've sat at this desk and not leaked!
have you seen my muse
is she on a cruise?
If I catch her it's her nose I'll tweak!
Accepting the zeitgeist
Adapting to challenges
Avoiding all dangers
Amusing with the mate
Attending the young ones
Aspiring to fly far…
Ah! What an existence!
There's no way to leave you and be me,
No where else I am longing to be,
The music that's playing
Is all about swaying
And there's no cause for fear I can see.
I think it’s such an amusing insult.
Aye, it’s baffled me. Bullies call me Four
Eyes. I’m supposed to cry as a result?
Ay me. They’re vexed when I laugh from the floor.
A new patron crawled into a bar,
Surprised all that he made it that far,
He said 'I really think,
I should have a quick drink,
Or no way I’ll get back to my car.'
The neighbors sipped on some red wine
Slepted , then lost track of the time
Woke up to a brawl
And then tried to crawl
Seem like, those drunkers had lost their mind
And may all your musings be amusing

But got the lyrics wrong

The winker's life for me
I'm wearing a tie-dye
It fits me to a T.
A temptress whose first name was Ella,
Had her best snares set out for a fella,
He saw through her ruses
And not fond of bruises
Simply said, ‘You’re not my Cinderella’
Sandra was enchanted and glamourous
Men were intimidated
Giddy when meeting her
Her winsome winning ways delighted them
None of the lot suspected
It was women she liked
There once was a cute chick named Nora,
Who preferred to dress up in angora,
But her boyfriend got sick,
To her clothes allergic,
Now she won’t wear a thing but her aura.
Betty was blue,
She was born that way,
Her friends said you’re funny,
But Betty said “Hey,
All of you are brown, black or pink,
?And that’s far more amusing, or so I think.”
I kept the coulds
threw away the shoulds
reserving the won’ts in a special spot
plucking them out one by one
amusing myself
happily adding them to my coulds
I could but I won’t.
Dark destiny’s hiss
burnt in fire of bliss
on our so choosing
games more amusing.
Caveat is this ~
we be drenched with bliss,
ego vaporised
and God realised.

So confused and yet you seem so amused.
lost in a daze life seems like a maze.
which way do you go ?
what is the next faze?
In this life , its so confusing and life’s too amusing.
You're a great mother,
the center for poets,
who post amusing thoughts,
through what they write;
for us to read and learn,
what we don't know,
and what to help us,
to live a better life.
Mazes I've learned are not amusing
My brain has become one of the most confusing
My thoughts are now tangled up in each other
A larger mess is made as I try to untangle one from another
