Blue Dogs and Parchment Shields
sniff out the garish lights
loud music and drunken discussions
enter the party uninvited
conceive uneasiness and instant disdain
you try to dance with strangers
who quickly slide away.
somewhere in the intercourse of a reddish night
they feed you to a pack of blue dogs
willing to drag you down into their fetid fires.
Loneliness warps all reason
lowers the standard
opens the vein

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO SHIELDS US FROM PLAGUES
February 22 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Numbers 26-27
Key Verse– Numbers 26:1 And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses…
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO SHIELDS US FROM PLAGUES
Praise be to God for shielding us from plagues as we:
Confess our sinfulness, pleading sincerely
Commit our lives to Him, pleasing

Hungry Hawk
Listen to your heart
think with your mind
before you think you're apart.
Walk through the fields,
get out from the dust
be covered behind the shields,
make sure you don't have any rust.
Wake up free of concerns,
take your soul for a walk
because there are no returns
for a solitary hungry hawk

Unexpected Shields
Times when u were young ,
A thought strikes me
Trees shade in scorching sun
Mid aged acceptance
Strong roots for little grass
Heads first prior
Maker's unconditional affection
Follow the steps
Untroubled upturn for keeping
Untroubled upturn for nourishing
Wasn't a function for prospect,
But desire for bliss
We dont long for inconsistent affection
Nor tenderness of our veins
But unexpected

Tee-Shirt, Old Jeans
The question, urgent and acute, that fashion
asks every woman daily: what does she
prefer? A Ricci’s chic, a chilly passion
of Ungaro, an ease of Givenchy?
What’s better? A dramatically black look
or, say, an all-white? A silk cape with strappy
heels or a floral-printed dress like Brook
Shields in “Allure”? The one that makes her happy.
So what if… Her

Shields and Yields of Love
Fields, shields and yields of love heal
Upheavals hearts harassed and heckled in circumstances
Maintained, retained and sustained on a hill
Disown and drown doubts in cocoons that ingratiate impertinence instances.
Fields, shields and yields of love lubricate
Gears and gaskets gleaned from garages of gregariousness
Feted and elevated to sainthood to subjugate
Spirits and writs to wean wads of wickedness.
Fields, shields

Trump Shields the Us From Becoming a Carcass Filled With Ants
Trump Shields The US From Becoming A Carcass Full With Ants
Trumps draws a line in the sand
He's shaken all the trees in the land
Call him whatever, okay an ass
Yet keep in mind his motto USA first
From the civil war to now
No other's brought out the plow
Like how Trump has outlined in his model
In stomping

With Fantastic Shields Made of Doubt Proof Steel
With Fantastic Shields Made Of Doubt Proof Steel
(The Turning Point)
In this my heart, I dare steel my resolve,
never again yield to cowardly fear,
change my life and in truth's wisdom evolve
well lighted path that breeds courage so clear.
In my spirit, a new creature

Sunless In North Shields
SUNLESS IN NORTH SHIELDS
It’s painful when the sea wind
Drives rain into the eyes
At the end of Yeoman Street,
Where I waited so long for that girl in the yellow raincoat,
Who never came.
Seagulls mocking down distant streets
Of Utrillo roofs and closed doors.
At

Leaves and Shields
Oft'times I see my friends all 'round
Lke leaves of Autumn, floating down
And softly drifting, side-to-side
A passive dance, on zephryn tide
Then when the ground is covered o'er
A million leaves! A billion! More!
Each leaf contributes its full size
Then, on a stormy gust, they rise
'Til once again back to the groung
With only a faint rustling sound
They cover Earth
