Sherbet that is coming from lord
We drunk thanks to God
That ocean of power
We passed thanks to God
That opposite mountains
Chestnuts and vineyards
With health and purity
We overcame thanks to God
We were dry became wet
Winged and became bird
Now spouse to each other
We flew thanks to God
To the cities that we reached
To that sincere hearts we touched
To the people, meaning of worship
We scattered thanks to God

That heaven's rivers
flow saying Allah
Went out philomels of Islam
whistles saying Allah
Sways tugba trees
Recites Quran also tongues
Elysum yard's roses
smells saying Allah
Some eats some drinks
Angels deal out peace
Prophet Idris measures dress
Stitchs saying Allah
All posts are from noor
All leaves are from silver
While streching branches
Concludes saying Allah
Brighter than moon, faces
Sweater than suger, voices
Eden's houri maidens
Wanders saying Allah
One who is in love with Allah
Pours teardrops from his eyes
Becomes pure in and outsides
Sings saying Allah
Whatever you wish, wish from God
Walk in this way with a guide
Parrot is in love with tulip
Crows saying Allah
Opened skies' doors
Full of peace all of those
Eight heaven's shores
Uncovered saying Allah
Ridvan is opener of gate
Idris is measurer of cloth
Drinker of Kevser sherbet
Quenchs saying Allah
Dervish Jonah arrive to your pal
Do not leave today to tomorrow
Morning to God's council
Let me reach saying Allah

Blue Cheese and Old Pickles – 3-14-25 Dedicated to my Grandmother Pickel and her famous pickles.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blue Cheese and Old Pickles
Forgotten in a tapestry of shadows
Woven in long twilights and long rows
Of blue cheeses, tomatoes, daisies and flying salmon
Shelves, birthing dust bunnies,
Give up the last jar of her pickles
Sealed in clear mason glass
Still smelling of dill and garlic and her hands.
Her handiwork still looks
As fresh as crisp cucumbers
Gathered in fields wearing sunflower bonnets
And the scent of new earth readied
To grow round again
With new seeds
Not to forget the children she gave into angel’s hands.
Brought into the light, her love shimmers
Through the artistry of her hands
A rhapsody, sealed and sung across decades,
Plays as I ladle jam and new pickles into her jars,
Savoring my harvest with gorgonzola on toast
And raspberry sherbet on a waffle cone.
We spent our days down by shore
Wading out in the placid seas
Or jumping waves that seemed to roar
Rolling in on a warm sweet breeze
The castles built when we were young
Bedecked with shells and seaweed strands
Small starfish from the waves were flung
We crowned our fort with starfish bands
The jelly tots and ice cream cones
Candy floss and sherbet lolly
Collecting pure white cuttle bones
Carrying home for pretty Polly
I sit here on this silent shore
In bitter wind from out the west
I grieve my friend you are no more
But memories echo…
you were the best
Spellbound, she thrills
to pirouettes and whirls
Leaves her seat to dance in the aisle
the precocious young child
Shushed to sit down
her bright eyes droop
O, but for want of a mentor
with a rainbow sherbet scoop
A winged mermaid blossoms,
awash with marine snow ~
Poseidon's ocean-pearl,
breathing jasmine sirens
as iced eyelashes curl...
A winged mermaid blossoms,
when fish-angels ache for
arctic apricity,
and glacial nymphs carve a
cruel felicity...
A winged mermaid blossoms,
as strawberry conch shells,
drape the neon sea-star ~
my minty sun trembles,
and sheds its sherbet scar...
A winged mermaid blossoms,
hearts of manta rays swath
with love's ivory rose -
unfurling aqua kins,
that ruby thorns unfroze...
I'm laced
in sherbet flakes,
swirling in aching wind~
as the sun sails amidst somber
silence
stars scatter secrets
in silver across moonlit
skies that shimmer hope..
echoing as diamond-dreams
upon hushed sighs of sorrow.
listen to my heartbeat drifting through caged darkness~time unravels truth…
It's an ice cream day, they say
sherbet and orange cream
sky, a slow motion dream
Sprinkles brighten curlicue clouds
Lemonade sun bursts through
breathe deep ~ nectar's rendezvous
When you tore my nubile nightgown,
from my youthful body in two.
That sherbet-colored beauty,which I
had purchased, just for you!
Forgotten, quickly then, though never
your footsteps, in the sweet,hallways of time!
Decades later, memories of that soccer
Austrian goalie and I now live eternal in rhyme
Your dimpled chin and sweet kisses, are
but yesterday’s treasure, indeed, sublime.
That starlit, spring night, so uniquely floral,
Opalescent and with fireflies~ divine.!
I dont know what’s with this feline,
But I wish that she were really mine.
I think she’s the cat of my fun .dreams.
She and I would make quite the team!
We could go on “Cat Dancing with the Stars”
Bring home the huge trophy,in my jalopy of a car.
I’d make her a filet of salmon in a crystal dish.
And reward myself with sherbet, it is so delish.
Two swinging champions we and so full of soul..
Tomorrow night, we will snack on raspberry jelly-rolls!
ECSTASY
O morning breeze of West and South Asia
Let my soul sip sherbet
From your breasts like lily of the Incas
Nightingale of the night,
The aroma of your voice,
So sweet and soothing as the Messiah's breath
Is the seven goddesses of Hellenistic World's melody
And your sable tresses ,
Full of Flowers of Taif
Whose fragrance,
Is the royal perfume of the Pharaohs
Lull my inner sorrows to repose
Mi orgullo and drighten of my soul ,
In the sea of grief - I crave for solace from you - please do not forsake me !
Here's a keffiyeh - here's a thobe or kandura
Wear them!
Your curvy body I yearn to see
Into your heart's prison,
I am girded - Please keep me from the world of separation
With your love,
Neither world nor family is needed
For to your soul I am entangled in saecula saeculorum.
A stroll down Paris city's wet streets.
So, romantic as the Eiffel Tower comes to view.
Vendors line up selling their wares out of carts.
Some shouting, "one euro, one euro only.
The aroma and vibrant colors of seasonal flowers
In buckets, reds, blues, pinks and orange sherbet.
Colorful umbrellas tower
For shade of passer-buyers
In the youthful sunny hours
And the cool refreshing showers.
Evergreen trees so green and proud.
Other trees, bare limbs, leaves dangle tight,
While others drift from the wind thief,
And crunched beneath passerby feet.
Streetlamps a lite as the moon starts to rise,
Still the city streets are full of busy activity.
The sound of the trotting horses
Pulling carriages up and down the main road.
Dizzying lacework of simplicity of life.
