Rare and invisible,
the black moon hovers,
stalking, surreptitious,
shepherding secrets in its shadow,
covert and clandestine,
seemingly insidious.
And yet...
it exemplifies
effervescence,
energy,
effectiveness,
fulfilling the unfulfilled,
turning points and tuning in to
potential,
possibilities,
prospects
and promise.
Carpe diem.

THE DRUM MAJOR: MLK
Reaping his harvest,
Nourished spirits marching on–
King's voice echoing:-
With the Drum Major,
Up the mountaintop we go;
Our eyes on the prize:-
King lies within us,
Shepherding us on the way;
Mountaintop climbing:-
King’s nature blooming…
Guided spirits blossoming…
We...overcoming…

4 days wondered
and wondered,
wondered why
for days wandering,
left far behind
in that desolate place
the staff shepherding
the long Lazarus queue
black sheep
woolen hearts
woven together
like tight poems huddled
all together, knitting
all the lost together
the rod cued
hits the ground
like a lightening strike
lightworlds away
lightworlds arrive
risen again
running with words in vein
vanity words
the Lazarus Q'd
now running in veins
it’s like you never had wings
now you feel so alive
unfurling
like Lazarus
risen
again

When this cold, broken world is healed of its sins,
and flooded with light and the warmth of your grace,
When all is reborn and remade for forever,
and time's paralyzing fear is erased from reality,
When you raise my humble body for an endless celebration -
a dance, a song, a heart-bursting Hosanna -
When you make all things right ...
Will I still wear my scars?
My scalded flesh ... it is all I have known.
Shall it be refashioned into flawless skin?
What age will I be? How skinny? How fat?
I have been many things, and there is more I could be ...
Forgive my curiosity, for I know it matters little.
Better to focus on shepherding the fragile soul you gave me.
I leave my future body to your hands.
It, as all else, is your gift to give.

Sweet and sappy, as strawberries,
yet the green leaf’s pulled
from the tongue, and
teaches one a smile set
in the bulk and brazen
of the hefty sour’n sweet
fruitiness obtained from the C
of the blazing sun’s goodness.
Plentiful teeny-tiny seeds
present in the plush red-ripe chill
to the gums, and
pearly-wide teeth
that plunge, as if into the neck
of Dracula’s victim.
Juice sucked off fingers.
The index circles the lips
to enhance the stickiness
and satisfaction
of the plucky fragaria,
full-sized, squeezing
the frame. Dimensions
hypnotize the dreamer
destined for the horizon.
Scented lip gloss,
a lasso for a boyfriend.
The milkshake mesmerizes
the swirly straw in the parlor.
Memories made shepherding
the wild strawberry fields -
hair, cheeks, lips, polish.

S*A*T*U*R*N
Slinging our way through your ice-ball halos,
Around your myriad shepherding moon rocks,
Tiger-stripe ice cream body below
Undulates in a tidal, hypnotizing rhythm,
Rocking our slender ship.
No sane artist could imagine you.

Say ‘Yes’ to infantry
Not to Banditry:
To a nation-shepherding troop,
Not to a wealth-chasing group
From shattered homes
Or discontented domes.
A mass approach to violent robbery
By haters of stories that targets were slippery,
Enacting scenes unspeakably horrible
Just to make annoying failure impossible.
Treasure-Crazy killers
At times, televised in thrillers
But scarcely a heralded team
And at whom smiles don’t beam.
Alass! A much unchecked bloodletting
In every vista, every setting
Lives wasting that never will be bought
And screams unlocking from the ruthlessly shot.
It’s an unceasing hunger
To often sound vulgar
Between “Son-of-a-”
To whom they’re resolved to ditch
And “I’ll ing shoot you”
To whom they didn’t care to find out ‘who’?
But-Thanks-quarrel they would over spoils,
Gangsters highly rating their individual toils
Though sometimes from memories lost to rum,
Now ordering them to burst one another’s bum!

Your Christmas Angel resides above
Keeping close, careful watch over you all
Twas a year ago God's angels carried her
When it was time for her heavenly call
Without her earthly presence, you've inched forward
Life moved on whether or not you wanted it to
Your tears and your triumphs, she's seen them all
Your struggles and perseverances too
Forever, she remains alive in your hearts
Her heavenly role now is to guide and to pray
Silently and lovingly, she soars above you
Shepherding you as you go on your way
As this Christmas season approaches
Hold tight to those memories near and dear
Spread comfort and joy while still on this earth
And share each blessing from above of good cheer

Walking becoming overcoming.
Orion becomes Jesus walking on water.
Trek trudge and stumble, taking it in stride.
Bearing a cross of torment and torture.
Struggling slogging shepherding,
slaving in blood mixed tears.
Walking through light and shadow.
Sleep meandering, dreams seamlessly
mingle with stumbling lumbering,
slumbering shamble, ambling ramble.
Roving roaming range, radius reached,
realms always remembered.
Walking the footpath through rainforest.
Sizzling amour fou ardor, fevered fervor.
Lascivious among the leaves,
captive to carnality.
Fleshly forbidden found only
in the taboo soil of impulses.
Walking in the aurora of first light.
Sprinting agape beneath spectral wavy prismatic sky.
Darting dashing driving toward a new day.
Racing rushing for radiant rays wrapping the horizon.
Igniting the dark, blazing the trail in a neonate morning,
advancing the awaiting adventure.
Walking with friends and lovers.
Parading promenading propelled plantigrade.
Globetrotting every continent, every consideration,
every awareness and attentiveness.
The common blanket sweeping overall.
Let the celebration of being begin.

Mind will always dream,
eyes will endlessly gaze,
lips will remain impatient.
Although, I've not met her,
the heart is a battleground
of anguish and angst.
Its cries, seeking the serenity
of her secret sanctuary.
Hope ascends to tranquil heavens.
Twilight's baptism, blends
merigold into fading blue horizons
with sparkling amethysts hues.
Oh my beautiful beloved,
come to me with your comforting arms,
like soothing stars, shepherding
the nebulous night sky.
Destiny can deceive,
sometimes a friend, sometimes a foe,
but, we search for the blessings,
through each trial and tribulation.
For, she is the silence,
between heart beats -
who's name rests upon
tense tips of the tongue.
In the discrepancy of distance,
love's appetite lingers in lament -
yearning for our lips to merge.
Yet the night is an unfinished symphony.
Idyllic lyrics craving to pour,
upon an incomplete song sheet.
Without her,
Silent One's muse is mute.
I am not a poet,
But in her reflection -
I am poetry.

He was just another foulmouthed saint
“halo” tilted jauntily to one side
wings tucked neatly into a dirt stained jacket
aura – lightly tinged with a sparkle of dust.
cussing – his milieu of mindfulness
spitting – his punctuation marks.
Yet they always sought him out
sat with him, tapped his endless time,
shook their heads in awe of his irreverence.
He said “that if the shadow you cast
isn’t longer that that of the church
you should find another church”.
Claims he read a book – ONCE
built a few colleges
never attended one.
He had a predatory edginess
patrolling, protecting, shepherding,
all who entered his domain.
His face absorbing the pain of his vision
watching the innocent betrayed
by sweet talking charlatans
he would occasionally straighten his halo
unfurl his rumpled wings
tell them to “F..k off!” – and spit!!
He was just another Foulmouthed Saint.

Life--complex gift received of God's great hands;
no choice have we. When life begins we are
unaware even that we live. The sands
in life's brief glass fall beneath shepherding star.
Childhood's lessons, meant to chart roads ahead
are painful memories, unfortunate,
for babes unwanted, ill, or filled with dread
of abuse, born of souls degenerate.
Propelled by time's swift wave, proportional
or not the hard trials that befall our way,
our response we govern: build bitter walls
or live knowing grief cannot joy outweigh.
I would not blame divine hands who life gave,
for on His kind palm me He did engrave.
Reference to Isaiah 49:16 ESV
Behold, I have engraved you on the palm of my hands;
your walls are continually before me.

Let me pen my words with lyrics flowing
My words are better than vineyards growing
More tasty than your favorite meal
My words are as oil poured out…silky and surreal
My divine father sculpture me
Am inspired through Solomon songs lyrically
I am exalted and glad with thee
For thy blessings and your gift to me
Sit back, my fellow poets, my buddies and all humanity
Let wonderful poetry dictate the way you feel
Listen to inspiring words with a delicious flavor
My style is unique and like no other
I am the keeper of chateau de Poetry
Charming words your soul loveth….read!
Feeding your conscious and subconscious everyday
Maketh your soul and spirit cast ponder away
Beautiful words flock your airy barnyards
A rich over flow… lyrically be glad!
O yeah! Am inspired by songs of Solomon
Shepherding my word’s serenading songs
King Solomon said, "Bring me a sword”
And I say “let my poetry be heard all over this world”
For I am poetically anointed by God!

You Suffocate Me with Darkness…
~Satan~
Lawless, deceiver
Perverting, accusing, murdering
Fallen angel, ruler of darkness, marriage destroyer
You stalk, you lie, you destroy, you steal my loved ones’ joy
You are the real loser

You permeate my life with prisms of warm sunshine…
