minor challenges
causing mind to rethink
a different path
I'm safe,
Guided,
Jesus rocks my soul,
Strength through loyalty, our faith,
Overcomes setbacks.
Life lulls us into eras with warm waves we swear to ride forever
Then one sharp strike a pink slip a fate we cannot sever
Our days crack open hollow clocks count every bite of pain
And shadows burn our plans to ash leaving nothing to remain
The path I chose wasn't easy,
Choosing my self,
My kid,
It was never easy,
There are days I cry to sleep,
Stay awake and blame myself,
There are mornings I wished I have someone,
Cause I didn't thought it was this hard,
Thinking what if I stayed,
What if I didn't make a way to get out,
Or what if I waited,
Could things be better,
Up to this day I blame myself,
up to this very hour I mourn,
up this very line I break,
For that decision I made,
Two lovers walk intertwined watching the waves as they roll across the endless shore. Their love for each other unbreakable and eternal. The lovers’ hearts so interlaced they beat as one instead of two.
Together in life, in death, into what comes beyond. The lovers walk a singular path, a path that is certain to have potholes and obstacles, setbacks and bumps but also encouragement and truth, understanding and love.
Never without love. An imperishable love woven from the chapters of the lovers’ life.
Setbacks can make you stronger
The conflict in your life is there for a reason
Do not ignore the season of a storm
It can make you stronger
Recollect your thoughts
Do not get caught up in the mix because
The lessons are there to fix your character
Hope is alive and well
Drenched in the fire
You will destroy the liar!
In truth and sincerity
Your purpose sparkles higher
Setbacks can make you stronger

At a time he should have been set
Murphy became rather upset.
Scott had this guessed at the outset
But not how to Murphy reset.
Scott could only pray that Murphy
Go home with the cherished trophy;
With loss his room might seem stuffy
And unusable seats fluffy...
But setbacks checked at their onset
Required one who was preset
And Ben Murphy–photo inset
Didn't look a pin the preset.

The mercies of God are new every morning
It transforms our imperfection
And makes it beautiful
