Covered by grace, blessed with faith, anointed with favour
Yah is all I need to get through the day
Bless me, Yah, as I seek thee, make me your prologue
While I am building faith, hold on to me
When I am afraid, come down and stay near me
Bear my burdens and cover my scars
Wipe my tears and reassure me that you have me
Let my spirit dance in your glory and light
Lead me to your sanctuary and enlarge my territory, help me
to avoid temptation as I come your way
Holy Father, send down peace to rejuvenate me
Set my feet upon higher grounds, whereby my enemies cannot reach me
Yah cover me, take full control
Forsake me not in this season or world
Cast me not away, bring me back when I stray
Be my strength, salvation and light
Father, who shall I be afraid of when you are my Shepherd and shield
You are the reason I am alive and have survived
In your presence, I am safe
Yah is my refuge, fortress, armour and strong tower in whom I trust.

The river winds just around the bend
I can't wait to see the majestic mountains
Made by God's precious hands
The sky is full of billowy clouds
Like cotton in the palm of my hand
Lord send down Your Spirit
Where hearts and minds then collide
Bless me with all of Your favor
Never from You will I ever hide
I see the meadow just below me
Oh my feet have left the ground
I now know God's calling me
And now I'm heaven bound

Wealth,
We see them in the streets,
Those barely making ends meet,
Trying so hard,
To stand on their feet.
Feeling so beat,
Fighting a need to eat.
Asking GOD above,
Send down your love,
So we can share,
How much we care,
Instead of watching them,
just sit there.

Just Clouds
They seem just ordinary fill
for a background, a fuzzy white
or gray that doesn't grab the eye
and distract from the more deserving
stuff like trees, sweeping ocean views
and mountain lakes. Clouds lack
a clean line.
They seldom get prime billing
unless infused with anger and about
to burst, or wear the outrageous
colors of a rising or setting sun.
Many exclude them altogether
with a preference for a blue,
totally cloudless sky.
Frankly, total blue is boring to me.
Give me tufts of purest white
drifting soundlessly across
an otherwise featureless sky,
big bellied storm clouds, dark
and sagging with weight,
rumbling with thunder,
letting their load of water go.
And wrap me
in the soft, filtered light
of low, misty clouds that have learnt
how to weep, keep me safe
from the big towering giants
that grow with menace on a distant
horizon and bless me
with the unseen ones
that send down a gentle rain at night
to lull me off to sleep.

Oh God, in your benevolent presence I find,
A tranquil haven for my troubled mind.
Even when I stray far from your view,
I feel a divine magnetism pulling me to you.
At times I feel how thankless I am
And wonder if not my piety, a mere sham?
My heart rises up to heaven
Whenever I am in severe pain
But sadly, I forget you,
As soon as I am through.
Sooner when I overcome my strife,
You bless me with a fresh lease of life
You send down beams of light,
Into my dark and dreary night.
You glue up the shards,
When I am broken and at odds.
You lovingly pat me on my head
And take away my dread.
You put a smile on my face,
Even on losing my race.
Each time when I cry,
My tears you gently dry.
When I fall down under the weight,
You come to me and gently lift
When I drift without direction,
You show me the way with affection.
Your light never fails to guide.
With you, how safe I feel inside.
You supply me with all I need.
You are my life’s greatest comfort, indeed.
Give me grace ever to stay within your magnetic field
To seek your whim and to temptations, never yield

1. If you could look into your future and choose one day to see what would happen, what day would that be and why...
~~~
When death calls my name, as I walk my last mile,
Will the stars shine like they did the night afore?
Twinkling in still skies, glittering to beguile.
When the end comes will I know what to adore?
Will the tears fall or will I fear death’s dark call?
Will the stars shine like they did the night afore?
When time has passed, will the end come at nightfall?
Or will I learn death may bring joy to my soul?
Will the tears fall or will I fear death’s dark call?
When I pass, will God send down hope to console?
Will I remember the good, forget the bad?
Or will I learn death may bring joy to my soul?
When hearts remember my light, will they be glad?
Did I leave this world better than it once was?
Will I remember the good, forget the bad?
I hope I gave someone a reason to pause.
When death calls my name, as I walk my last mile,
Did I leave this world better than it once was?
Twinkling in still skies, glittering to beguile.
Storms, those storms, do appear
At times with thunderous roar
Sweeping through darkened skies
That shake the earth to its core
Dark clouds like mourner's cloaks
Gather, charcoal gray despair
Lightning flashes, dances across
A blackened atmosphere
They've unleashed their fury
Send down torrential rain
Dripped-dropped upon rooftops
Raising up angry Cain
Universe I'm part your girt;
I'm part of energies worth;
Sent down through creation:
From Father Elohim;
Lightening strikes;
Thunder voiced;
Seldom sparks;
Father speaks, it is so light, life;
Father Elohim, from the beginning;
You never end, such as so you're mine friend;
You sent me down through creation;
Come unto my creation;
Universe I'm part girt;
Send down into the birth canal;
Onto earth;
I'm part of energies worth;
Sent down through creation:
From Father Elohim;
Father speaks, it is so light, life;
I am not of the angel alumni;
Coming down from heavens skies;
Send down into the birth canal;
Onto earth;
She swiped the lipstick across her lips
even if everyday life seemed hopeless
The path through flowers and weeds
twisted in different directions
pale meager illusions
God knows she is exhausted
Faith, prayer for grace and hope
With eyes fixed on the sky
she kneels divine to the earth
Abandoned as a glow worm in the dark
so many walks in this labyrinth
Meek and humble to change directions
Black sheep also have wool
Dear God, send down an angel
with the cross of truth, Amen
"Healing For My Gracie-Goo"
**To everyone who may be reading,
I need a favor from all of you.
I'm begging & I'm pleading,
For healing for my Gracie-Goo.
**She's my daughter & been coughing throughout the night,
My poor baby's not had much rest.
Please pray that she will be alright,
I just hope she'll try her best.
**But to hear her coughing & going through this,
It's not what parents want to see.
Before she laid down I gave her a kiss,
Rather than having her suffer, why can't it be me?
**I just love my girl so much,
I just pray that soon she's well.
Lord send down Your healing touch,
And send her sickness back to hell!
**So now I'd like to thank you all,
For letting me vent to you.
I didn't know on who else to call,
To pray for healing for my Gracie-Goo.
All the folks in the district
Know that they should walks restrict
Or guards shall restrict their walks:
Make them suspend lengthened talks
Or with lengthened talk send down
To the valley of the town…
All the folks in the district
Like human lungs that constrict,
Because bronchitis is strict
And tormenting hour picked…
In an-too-strict district
No lips just funnily licked
No face with a funny streak
Or prison for a full week;
Legal redress to not seek
As lawyers have their harsh beak!
So, how like you such, free man!
Three months I’d live there and ran.
As night descends, the heavens celebrate,
The birth of stars
Through the tossing trees,
They send down their toothless smiles
The Moon too smiles with glee,
Like a pleased mother.
The Earth in darkness,
Looking at the illumined sky,
Follows suit and lights up
Street lamps open their eyes,
Flooding the cobalt streets.
Neon bulbs blink from hidden homes
Car lights dazzle like lightning
Glow worms, like night sentries,
Parade round with mini torches
The roads ring with the sound of returning feet
Fairies roam round for their nightly gambols
Day laborers coil lazily to rest
Letting their barbed distractions melt slowly away
The dead in their sepulchers sleep peaceful!
Among the muted murmurs,
The cicadas’ sounds alone swell.
This is the time for life and strife
To lay their heads pillowed for serene sleep
Under the blanket of a dim lit night!
Snow, snow, you have to go.
My patience with you is at an all - time low.
Pack your bags and hit the road.
Take your iceberg and go, go, go.
Come on, sun, turn up the heat.
I'm so sick of this cold and sleet.
Hey, Mr. Sun, Send down your rays.
I'm fed up with gloom and haze.
Come on, spring, it's time to shine.
The robins are here; there are plenty of signs.
Now, Mr. Winter, hit the bricks.
You've been evicted, and NO! More tricks
Wash us our stain
Heal us oh God
And send down thy rain
We pray
... Amen !
For ground swallows our flesh
The wind blows into air, our spirit
Our families mourn all day
Our tears caress our bruised hearts
As we silently walk away
Our families mourn all day
Dear farther in heaven
We are tired of mourning
Make earth a safe haven
And your sun shines on us in the morning
... Amen !
