Self Loving Poems | Examples

story from A to Z

All love I poured
But nothing
Comes in my
Destiny,he played with my
Emotions and I am crying in
Grief of loosing my
Happiness for him
Irony,is he was
Just passing time
Knowing how sensitive I am,but
Life
Must go on
Nothing can stop me
Ofcourse I stood my self
Pushed myself came out from
Quietness
Restarting my life by
Self loving
Treating myself as
Unique shining queen having
Vast empire
With lots of admirer giving me
Xanthous colour of sunflower which fills me
Yahoo!!with
Zeal and give hope to fly high

Sour Grapes

It is my observation that
those who violently oppose the opinion
Or belief of another

their own self bias disclose

 I want to believe
In a power
Greater than my own

 To have a hope
  For an anchor to grope
In seas starting to foam

And how is it
dermis
Off your nose
What others are
Moved to say

And why does
It so solidly grind your gears
What some happily choose to relay

I fully disagree with you
but not your right
to speak it

I just make a note
for future time
to be sure not to seek it

The idea I have entertained Of those
who don't want Faith and want to deprive others too

Is you have no need
to search for God
because you have found him in you.

The one I serve
Isn't arrogant
Or condescending in tone

So why not
Your merry self loving way go
And leave the God fearing alone

Or perhaps it's due
to the fact that you
Answer to no one up to
And including the ONE who tolerates you.

Each to their own.Sans agendas.

Forever

‘Forever’ drops through the cracks of time.
The everlasting is a way of saying never-lasting.

We had to change its meaning
for the sake of the children
for those who need nursery rhymes,
and the nursery rhymes are too deep
for the children to comprehend.
The ‘children’ are ancient, ageless,
they live on
in the collective unconsciousness.

So we make-up words that mean
the opposite of their true meaning.
'Love' for instance,
love does not mean love something
or anything. Love objectified
outside of you is a mirage.

If you add forever to the word ‘love’
you conflate an idea with a reality.
When you have something to give,
then you can give.

Without this self-loving
you have nothing to offer.
You can only truly love yourself.
Without this understanding
love becomes for-never.

Some say words are powerful
yes and no –
for unless you know the root of a word

you will not know the truth of a word.

Premium MemberThe Object of Worship - Psalm 96: 7-9

We all have the capacity to worship
having been created for that noble matter
but we're so full of self-loving ourselves
telling everyone we know so full of chatter

God has designed us to worship Him
and only Him alone for He is God alone
the atheist has removed God from their mind
thinking they're well proud they're prone

For in worshipping nothing they value nothing
life is meaningless so being unsatisfied
so in denying God they worship themselves
proving nothing but in God who they denied

God calls His own to worship
to bow before His great holy name
recognising the God of very God
who is the almighty as is His claim

All correct worship has only one aim
the great sovereign God claims His due
that all mankind worship God alone
scriptures show this be fully true

(Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength!
 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
bring an offering, and come into his courts!
 Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness;
tremble before him, all the earth!)

Pencraft

I'll write of things lamentable like poor shipwrecked loves,
Tempest-tossed by bestial winds behind unfeeling storms;
Ripped apart by the furious middles of swift-gusting winds,
Voyaging to dream-born shores away from boring homes.

I'll tell of the Fate-shattered dreams of earth's surest bet.
Painting how those naive shoots untimely waterloos met,
Leaving tender footprints new on antiquity's fierce sands;
Blossoming stars offed by hard luck's experienced hands.

My verse will endeavor to weave history's accurate tales.
Parodying villainy within quiet complacency's stronghold,
Shaming eccentricities in black nooks by raw truth untold;
Inking sagest anecdotes that any finessed raconteur hails.

Of first-hand swills or soured affectations I will not write.
For the self-loving bard’s quill falters from black to white,
As he relives a narcissist's replica of alleged first-felt lots,
And his best tropes mimic mere ego-embellished reports.

I leave it to unaffected pens immune to self-patting twists,
To write of this modest scribe's little turns and weird gists.

Premium MemberFade Off Into the Blue

(verse 1)
I’ve lived a short life,
for which my tears have gone dry.
 A state of mental confusion,
from a mother and father.
 Twisted lies, twisted truth,
which to believe, which to distrust.

(chorus)
Will I shine like the sun,
and glow with self loving esteem?
Or will i fade off into the blue,
with a mind that’s bashed by depression?

(verse 2)
A man that’s lost on a path,
that was created by a child.
What was it that I dreamed?
Was it lost in days of yesteryear.
Did daddy do what mother said he did,
and did mommy suffer the way she claimed?

(chorus)
Will I shine like the sun,
and glow with self loving esteem?
Or will i fade off into the blue,
with a mind that’s bashed by depression?

(verse 3)
When I turn old and gray,
will my friends and family stay?
Will I abuse my wife with fists?
Could I end up beating my kids verbally?
 Can I conquer the sickness,
or will it just be a fantasy?

(chorus)
Will I shine like the sun,
and glow with self loving esteem?
Or will i fade off into the blue,
with a mind that’s bashed by depression?

The Sun Hurts My Eyes

i used to know love
take her out and tell her how i feel
promise the world
over the moon
laughing into a sunset
Televisions for mirrors
best and amazing dripping on every kiss
sugar down the funnel

i worshipped the idea
of you

release the doves

backed into a corner i
gave away nothing my sacred
still ringing

i noticed the continuity
the light still casts a shade
if time and space are the same
why does it still feel like yesterday?

i feel her bending back the elegance
the partition was only the beginning
i wallowed in my denial, laying on my back
the sun hurts my eyes

i forgave and learned of my needs
i gave thanks this love was a pathway

now which love was mine?

who dares straddle my holy ground?
brazen and also wary
courage and sensitivity
self loving and almost selfless
the wine i share in silence

the things i feed upon
while drifting in a milky way

a constellation came to my bedside
butterfly kisses my eyes were twinkling
still receiving a signal but by the time
i have a listen
they had been finished in a cycle
becoming something i have nothing to do with

State of Love

State of Love

Imagination of love with object
Dispenses love and generates sacrifice
Money of pocket and intention of buying
Helps all in all case.

Thus it defines to engross love
And should oblige with case of price
Donate it in any way
And offer some valuable face

Aim of love with situation
Encircle self with amicable sense
Wait and be ready to grasp situation
Whatever present state delivers

But ignore dissatisfaction remove from place
If it is not for you by liking steps
State of love is your sacrifice
How do you create this not by others?

All are involved in self loving race
Buy object or face, both treat you same way
It replicates on your behave as in mirror
How would you broaden your cheek for test?

To buy pure, immaculate and natural love
Accuracy should be complete as globe
As you cannot go against of nature
How water, wind, light, and soil serve you selfless.

My Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance to each self-loving, self-made individual
Whose sole need of men is force-free profitable trade,
Who judges aims and acts with his own thinking mind
And stands proud to receive judgment, sure and unafraid.

I pledge allegiance to the state of individual rights,
The law-bound republic of only private property---
Private flesh and thoughts and lands and tools and lives,
Where each man holds the wheel of self-responsibility.

I pledge allegiance to the rationally selfish self,
And to the happiness on earth that each may find;
And I pledge totally against the death-blow evils of altruism---
Communism, socialism, fascism, religion and environmentalism.

I pledge allegiance to life---human life above all other--
Actual life above potential---fact above wishing.
I pledge allegiance to me; yes, to me I pledge allegiance;
With myself and by myself and to myself, I pledge allegiance.

Lightness!

If the life in you is the life you love
And the joy of life is your purpose,
Then stand up and sing,
Sing loud of that thing,
And never be heavy again.

Ah, for the body of right is a lightness,
And its engine a rational will,
And the self-leading soul, now a fighter,
Will never be heavy again!

If the thought in you is the dream you live,
And the aim of dream is your profit,
Then stand up and sing,
Sing loud of that thing,
And never look down again!

Ah, for the cup that is full is a lightness,
However so large it be,
And the self-loving soul, now a giant,
Will never look down again!

Oh, if flesh of Ideal is the flesh you want,
And mind-in-body your mast'ry,
Then clasp her and swing,
Bell bound to that thing,
And never be heavy again!

Ah! For the Altar Of Want is a lightness,
Where never a true love lost,
And the power of pride, inspiring,
Will never be heavy again!

If kisses, embraces, and profits and life,
Aren't misses and chases, and losses and strife,
Then get them and do them and earn them and win,
And never be never be heavy again! Hah!

Debt of Narcissus

now behold, self-loving self-beholder

           your self-seen self perfection

                     cracked mirror's reflection

but outside screams a pettifogging shrew

            mad landlady curses you

                      your rent long overdue!
