Sour Grapes

It is my observation that those who violently oppose the opinion Or belief of another their own self bias disclose I want to believe In a power Greater than my own To have a hope For an anchor to grope In seas starting to foam And how is it dermis Off your nose What others are Moved to say And why does It so solidly grind your gears What some happily choose to relay I fully disagree with you but not your right to speak it I just make a note for future time to be sure not to seek it The idea I have entertained Of those who don't want Faith and want to deprive others too Is you have no need to search for God because you have found him in you. The one I serve Isn't arrogant Or condescending in tone So why not Your merry self loving way go And leave the God fearing alone Or perhaps it's due to the fact that you Answer to no one up to And including the ONE who tolerates you. Each to their own.Sans agendas.

No one knows what in your heart to oppose your belief. We don't always say what we believe. Lot of times we don't want others to know that belief. Belief is a thin line that drags you to its corner. God is universal, unique and within you though their is other aspects to how we belief like that of Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha, these are all men of a different caliber of faith.

I am in that I am able to make myself what ever I need to be as in a loving father to those who had none,a protector. Not only that but I am as in I am able to make you into whatever you need to become as well.Outspoken when innately shy for example. This is my understanding of I am.Yes I believe we can become God's house by our invitation of his influence in our life which can become so entailing it leaves little room for the other. The Indians speak of the two wolves that live inside a man.The one nurturing and good the other decimating and proud.Which will thrive was asked ?The one you feed.I choose to feed God's influence as I know his motive is to my benefit.I am also in awe of the fact he could have forced all to be his servants upon this earth but graciously gave us free will wanting us to do so out of love.A mirroring back of the love he has so generously bestowed upon us since earths' inception.

Well spoken Vickey! You have focused on such an important subject right now - the seemingly intolerant spirit that is so prevalent - the inability of many to enter into a discussion of opposing viewpoints. This kind of discussion is so important to the development of new ideas and not just spewing one's own beliefs! And I love your last two stanzas. Without God, this world spins off into chaos and ultimate oblivion. Grace and peace to you!

I agree Vicky.. With one exeption you do Have an agenda in your beleif, that you are Free to follow God.' And to gain His Love. Again Is a goal or agenda.. Not that that is hurting Anyone else.. I don't want to appear rude, it's just Better in my mind coming from someone who Shares much that you will, rather than well ; from a you know what source.' God bless and keep You Dear Vicky 'humbly yours Joe.'
