Premium MemberAmorous Attentions

The intimacy of knowing your body
as well as I know my own…
The unspoken permission
to touch with my hands,
to feel with my lips,
my tongue,
 to move upon and explore
 the most secret of places,
witness the most intimate functions.
Your salty sweat is delicious,
your saliva is like fine wine.
Each pale hair that covers you
deserves attention and devotion.
I want to taste the words
that spill from your lips as you speak,
taste the flavor of my name on your mouth.
I want to crawl inside of you,
as if you had a uterus
and it could be the womb
where I suck my thumb,
secure and safe.
To know you as intimately as I know myself,
and to peek in at your thoughts…
to seek and find that hidden place
 where your soul resides!
I would that I could lay seige
to the shelter that succors your naked,
 vulnerable soul…
and live there with you,
hold you in my arms for eternity.

Premium MemberUnmoored

white balloon of pulse beats
its sluggish hops on March land
matted with half melted snow
freed from a nearby high rise balcony
cut from its red and blue compatriots
still hooked onto the railing
a matter of strings becoming frayed

small white blimp
reacting to a wind that means much less to others
unsettling to think it can't find its mooring
its bustable skin
flimsy
like the shallow breath of an aged sleeper
how long before it flees to some kind of shelter

small white balloon
soon to be picked up as litter
bouncing in its frailty
blow by blow
a swivel from side to side
and always
its sense of being under seige

Torture

Whispers in my head I hear it all so clearly
Negativity in my brain bordering on weary
Enemy caught me when I was very weak
Tortured me for the treasure that they sought to seek
Vigil I remained though I admit that they were close
To destroying what I had that was saving me the most
Then I remember in that moment that I am stronger than I think
So I started focusing on the other side of the chain link
It keeps me strong it keeps me sane
It keeps me going it keeps me trained
And so the enemy caught me but I got out of their trap
Now I know where they're hiding I got them marked on my map
You'd think that I'd call out the troops and take them by seige
Arrest them detain them and make them my liege
Treat them like dirt torture and maim
Paybacks a and all for my pain
But thats not how I roll for if I did I'd be them
Blood on my hands brazen in sin.

Rainy Days

Drop after drop the sky is dropping
Water drops , drops and drops
Sky is weeping and wind is crying
Thunder is roaring and making sigh
I am happy but full of strife
Rain drops falling,looks like stars
Rainy days makes sky clear and dark
Birds are in cages and humanity in seige .
No one is happy in these rainy days
Sky is weeping and never stops
Floods are coming on the show
Rainy day and rains are beautiful at all
Everyone sees it as different craft.

Siege

SEIGE
Rifle fire. Breaking glass. The hotel screams.
Heart thumping against my ribs and chest,
I note the shooting direction.

Cops taught me that, last time.
Or was it the one before?
I’m up to number four.

My best friend , ashen- faced, rushes towards
the main entrance . No, wait, Danny, wait!
But he flees, risking a fusillade of bullets.

I take a chance on the side door. Rip off my red Tee Shirt.
Bright colours attract attention. Scale a wall, that was close.
Blood drips from my hand.
Superficial scratch, not worth a mention.

Running barefoot, I zig-zag, along the beach.
It’s dense with smoke. Zing of gunfire, acrid
air. I gasp for breath.

A rat on the run, I grab likely shelter, a drain.
Shouts, shots, boots running past.
It’s cramped , damp and mouldy.
One hour? Two? Who knew.

The stutter of gunfire and sirens fade
into the slosh of waves, the cry of a gull.
Trembling, I slither to the entrance.
Fumble for the phone. Dial my best buddy.
Danny doesn’t pick up.

Wages of Sin

Heavy the weight of evil's darkened blight.
In dread one breaks heart's vast moral compass.
Sombre regret lays seige upon my brow.
Bewitched my mind is rampant by false truths.
For vanity lays waste to vanity.
Mind's conflict changes like the river tide.
Time's fleeting torment yet today unspent.
Thoughts blossom, wilt, die, like a single rose.
Selfish vain souls repent for their own gain.
Fools barter coins at heaven's golden door.
Misguided belief plagues on lonely hearts.
Misery festers thick like winter's mist.
History repeats by foul men in rogue.
But hark the wager is already won.
Musture courage from mercy's precious gift.
To lay vigil and confess all my sin.
So when my life reaches its nat'ral end.
Be welcomed in whole by ill deserved praise.

The Image of My Nation

To western seige we're a stooge
Dancing like drunkards in deluge
We sow our seeds in centrifuge.
What race gladly ruins her refuge?

Free souls strolling behind bars
Brave recruits scared of scars
Fragrant flowers staring at the stars.
Is this who we really are?

Running after the beauty behind us
We forget the bliss before us
Only to find fantasy within us.
Will this forever be our focus?

Dignity drowns in our political pool
Sincerity is scam in new school
Wisdom is sourced from cesspool.
Is criminality the new cool?

Is this just my imagination
or the image of my nation?

My Marvelous Helper

Who gives me speed and strength
Who gives me hope and health
Who gives me worth and wealth?
My Marvelous Helper.

Who gives me joy and peace
Who makes all seige to cease
Who gives me full release?
My Marvelous Helper.

Who knows the stars by name
Who took away my shame
Who sets my soul aflame?
My Marvelous Helper.

Who hears me when I call
Who lifts me when I fall
Who is my All in all?
My Marvelous Helper.

Who keeps me safe and sound
Who turns all things around
Whose pow'r is so profound?
My Marvelous Helper.

Who turned water to wine
Who makes me fresh and fine
Who makes me shout and shine?
My Marvelous Helper.

Who goes ahead of me
Who saves and sets me free
Who makes me fears to flee?
My Marvelous Helper

Sickness

I've still not healed from you
You're in my blood, my veins
You've seeped in every pore of me
A plague upon my brain
You make me hot like fever
I sweat, my body aches
Lose air when I am close to you
How much sickness can I take
I'm infected with this passion
Desire like disease
It lives in every cell of me
My body's under seige
This carnal need is savage
It's eating me alive
I have to touch you, feel you
Or else I cant survive
There has to be an antidote
A treatment, remedy
To cure this lustful sickness
That's taken over me
I need to search, to find it
And make this go away
I'm so weakened by the wanting
I'm temptation''s easy prey

A People Betrayed

You dont have to be moved,
we are already in a revolution
A different kind, one where futures are decided on couches in front of the television.
One which undoes it all
Implanting the seeds that usurp
men and women; both old and young along with their hot blooded ideals.
I make a imaginery toast to a time when we raised fists in unison.
While I watch in much intrigue and an impending sense of horror,
a tide wiping the minds of the free of all that is red
With the sterility of modern celluloid fiction.
The profane fantasies consisting of comic book superheroes fighting crime.
Morphed, rudimentary ideas of justice.
Just another vulgar display of neo liberal superficiality.
Meanwhile my mind wanders far away
To the remote and torrid jungles of nowhere
 My comrade mothers her child
who is to be weaned off of her bossom,
It Blissfully titters at the breathtaking landscape now under seige.
As she cuddles her child, her eyes peer into the vastness.
Her heroes are dead, but not her resilience.

My Post Card To You

Hands interwined,
doomed the moment we navigated the room.
Intimacy our first impression.
Our whispered laughter,
still replayed on the vinyl of my heart.
Constantly skipping a beat.

Cupids antics yet again traps me in a pit of despair.
I failed to read the terms and conditions,
distance is the illness that plagues us both.
A glance and a roll of the eyes,
my heart beings to drown in it's own longing.
Annoyance the only excuse to be around you.

Your presence shelted by your insecurities,
your voice mute,
hand connected to foreman.
You retreat to the fortress called "comfort zone".

I lay seige to this castle.
I demand freedom,
the maiden is caged in the darkest of her mind.

Yet the protanganist was never I but you.
A glimmer of a smile,
you vanquish the demons lurking in my thoughts.

Now I capture every butterfly accompanied
by the utterance of your name.
In hope like you,
they'll save me once again.

If My People

Christians are taking America by seige;
Not by humbling ourselves and falling on our knees.
By getting angry with the government and holding a grudge;
Forgetting that the government is on God's shoulder and He is the Most High Judge.

Though not real Christians;
They just use God's name;
And they try to bring it to a terrible shame.
Who got the thought, what gave you the notion;
That you could kill a doctor, blow up an abortion clinic,
And this would stop abortions.
If we want to take a nation and turn it around,
Then we must go to our praying ground.
For we are the ones who are called by God's name;
And through our prayers a nation will be brought to change.
God will hear from Heaven and forgive our sins,
And heal this land from end to end.

If My people who are called by My name;
Will humble themselves, seek My face and pray.
Then will I hear from Heaven;
And heal this land today.

SEIGE OF SARAJEVO - 1992-96
The dark has brought them to a winter night
they' ve made themselves, forgetting what is right,
though they can see their children cry
there's not a one who'll reason why,
nor think upon enough to see the light.

There's no repent for killing going on,
and no resistance when the dead are gone.
just hate on hate that only grows,
the hint of peace that never shows,
with lots of blame, enough for everyone.

There's not one hero before dies are cast
until all reason's buried in the past.
and truth is what a baby hears
but put to rest for later years,
and right is not defined until the last.

My Love For You I Shall Never Yield

bestow upon me your love
bless me with your beauty
to be in your prescence i feel so lucky
i delight to kiss your lips
my heart for you love i feel
for my heart you did steal
gallop away with me across the horizon
lead me with your smile
as the sun starts to fade over the earth
my love for you has rebirth
it tears me asunder to think of your departure
drives me madd if you ever vanished
do not take your love away and your tender affection
for if you do it will be the ruin of me
like a strong city under seige
say you will be mine and marry me
take my hand and we shall become one
i make a vow to make you a happy woman
to thee i shall spread my wings and comfort your very soul
it vexes me to see you filled with sorrow
if i can not make you happy today i know there is tommorrow
we shall ride forth upon the dew of the fields
my love for you i shall never yield
