Savagery Sings

The world alone is making me smile
left to marvel at its natural wonder.
Glowing out loud is always in style. 

On a level high above thunder,
I fly on the sunshine in my veins.
My label’s that mach five number.

When caged by what society feigns,
many forget the important things.
If you fumble? Innate wisdom remains.

Shrugging Shoulders

Great Britain and their beloved colonial states,
struggled and determined each their own fates,
foes in war, but united in common civility,
unlike Putin's abandon of simple humanity.

Ravaged and weakened, but firm on their feet,
Ukraine lacks no courage in evil they meet,
and those who would claim, "It is not our fight."
abandon Heaven's calling to do what is right.

wishes hopes and dreams
 school sales, festivals, food and fun 
 in a moment gone
 people fallen, children lost
 3, 9, 22 depart in a flash
 so many fell in three cities
 they’ve left life’s promises too soon
 in a moment of light then shadows
 came senseless savagery
 loving lives gone others torn 
 nightmares

From the sublime to the savage
With relevance to ravage
By a being beset by a beauty’s betrayal begotten
My well-fed fortune forgotten
My reality rotten

An acrid and sulfuric soliloquy spoken sullenly and suddenly by a spirit betrothed to a fiend
By a warlock once weaned

Savagery

SAVAGERY

Bound tight by blinding shock,

Captured stiff by coaled astonishment,

Enslaved hard by utter incredulity,

In sight to four tortured sacrifices - 

Humiliated human bonfires to appease the dark lords.

It was a bad dream; a demented nightmare!

And I was being sucked in. I had to wake up, fast!

Savagery of an act unspeakable, 
ransack of the flesh of innocence 
melts the petals of the rose 
with blowtorch breath of violation. 
The gallows groan, with guilt are ridden, 
turmoil grinds a mind of penitence, 
caustic soda rivers flow 
with twisted thoughts of self-beration. 

The aftermath of the unaccountable, 
imagined false responsibility 
scars the contour
