He found his way to you

He rush towards you
Like a wave to the sand
Closer than you expected
He found his way to you
To light up your world like the sun
So hold on to him tight
For you may never experience
That great feeling again
Just give love a chance in your life
And as your eyes meet his
Take a look into the beautiful future
That awaits the both of you
It could be a taste of heaven
Therefore, embrace him close to your heart
And pull him deeper into your soul
Because he's the genuine love of your life
That found his way to you.

Premium Member Sea and Sand

In the midst of no man’s land
In the town of my birth
Once I dreamed of sea and sand
Sitting on the granite earth
A lot of water has flown under
All the bridges where I stood
Looking down, caught up in wonder
It was real and too good
A lot of time has passed since then
At the sea resorts I’ve stayed
Walked upon all kinds of sand
Picked up shells along the way
Dreams of sea come out fulfilled
Love’s another dream I had
It came true and stayed until
Came the time of which I read
That it comes all of a sudden
Unexpected like the rain
On a sunny day in town
Where my love lived, and remains
Dreams turn real and vice versa
This reality’s a dream
In the ash of its dispersal
Over sea and sand I’ve seen.

Your Shore

There's a beach where the sand
Won't get in your shoes
Or stick to your skin
When you're covered with sweat.

The shore's always clean
No trash or dead fish
And the water's still
Clear enough to drink.

In your mind, I hope and pray,
There's room for me
To kick that sand around
And be with you on your shore.

Premium Member Grains of Sand

        Grains of Sand

Waves lapping on shore
Caress the sands on the beach
Foam dances and swirls~
A rhythmic, calming presence
Nature`s powerful embrace

Footprints fade swiftly
Swept by ocean`s web and flow
Sands regain the sea~
Life`s transience we reckon
As prints on sands washed by waves

Huge heaps of sand dunes
Blown by the wild woeful winds
Are scattered away~
So is man, a grain of sand
In midst of the universe

Ode to the Ocean

All-encompassing, a vast blue might,
Billions of droplets, reflecting light.
Coral castles, where sea creatures roam,
Deepest trenches, a mysterious home.
Ever-moving, with rhythmic sway,
Fresh ocean breezes, greet each new day.
Glistening surface, a mirror so clear,
Haunting echoes, for all who draw near.
Immense and ancient, full of lore,
Joyful dolphins, leap from the shore.
Kelping forests, where life can thrive,
Luminous plankton, keeping dreams alive.
Mysteries hidden, in depths unknown,
Nature's grandeur, beautifully shown.
Onward currents, tirelessly flow,
Pristine waters, a mesmerizing glow.
Quiet whispers, from waves on the sand,
Rich biodiversity, across every land.
Salty essence, a taste of the wild,
Tidal surges, powerfully compiled.
Underwater wonders, a breathtaking sight,
Vast and vital, shining so bright.
Wild and free, where horizons extend,
Xenial waters, where life entwines.
Yearning spirits, forever it calls,
Zephyrs dancing, as each wave falls.

Premium Member Readying for a Sandstorm

desert sand kicks up with a mind of her own on occasion
nomads know to wear scarves and layers in which to hide
camels shield them from her wrath, when she turns full blown
ruins in the distance hold a secret scroll, her exact location hidden.

the scroll seeker opens up his map, searching for clues
terrible treacherous sandstorm is approaching from the east
he can tell by the brightness of the sky, she means destruction
wanderer on camel settles down next to the ruin, readying himself

Premium Member Man Is Like The Grains Of Sand

Man is like the grains of sand,
in the hourglass of eternity.
Reincarnating with every turn of the glass,
continually changing while staying the same.

The same eternal energy,
moving from one location
in the eternal continuum.

It changes its appearance
by its intent and its purpose
 through its intelligence.

Premium Member The Sand Whispers

In the beginning, there was not
The Word,
But silence,
A silence that weighs upon the soul.

Then came the dust,
with the flavor of an unfinished word,
like a lingering memory of a promise
half-spoken
by a God
too weary to complete the phrase.

The heavens offer no sign.
Only His absence wounds the heart.
And I walk onward,
unaware of the destination.

The sand is not barren.
It holds the weight of all I’ve lost:
A promise trodden underfoot,
A love forsaken
Before it could even bloom.

Somewhere,
in the shadowed recess of non-being,
God remains silent;
Not from indifference,
but because His mercy
no longer finds room
within our sullied measure of time.

When shall I arrive?
I do not know.
Yet I know the road
knows me better than I know myself.

And when the hour arrives,
I shall not knock upon the door.
My silence has been long enough.
My silence shall be the key.
And perhaps the door,
by the mercy of Him who waited for me,
shall open of its own accord.

I will step inside
bearing all I could not speak,
all the prayers
that burned within me
yet never reached the heavens.

Because sometimes,
even silence
is a way of faith.

Premium Member Desert Blindness

sand blistering hot
     throat parched I need water
              ah an oasis

where could it have went
     it just upped and disappeared
          it was a mirage

thought i'd stand by you
