Sand Timer

If I held all of the world in the palm of my hand
and it was in my gift to give or to take, or share
I would give it all to halt the trickle of the sand,
indeed, myself, for without you, life is hard to bear.

This is such a beautiful poem Terry. I had a moment to spare to read a few poems of those I know to be most talented. I am sorry I hadn't read it sooner. Best wishes from Wen

Ah, this one is sad... like Blake's to start with, but so personal. Very moving, in a world with much grief. J
