death cannot endure eternity ~ if it could we’d never be born
                                 (quote by poet)

Find rhapsody, great rhapsody, fomenting on high seas
Come lift up waves of despondency, I’m flailing so deep
Bamboozle revenant senses, restore my latent zeal
Overwhelm one million fold, melancholy drowning me

Find ecstasy, give ecstasy, paralyse me with bliss
I’m hooked on saline solution, and compelled to resist
               Rejuvenate exuberance, nullify emptiness
I want to be possessed again, in a wild wanton kiss

Find buoyancy, come buoyancy, aerate this lowly soul
Raise me up to the firmament, let heaven take control
I’ll face down blackest ether, see beyond its parasol
Never again to sit stagnant, just to bow shall I stall

Find gravity, sheer gravity, falls short on temple steps
Pressurising in nature, stopped dead in a gods codex
Free now to bathe in mercy, overcome but not by depth
Expanding on forever, where beginnings intersect

Unplug the Machines and Let Death Come Naturally

When and if the time should ever
come when all is said and that can
be has been done

And the only signs or form of life
that remains is being kept alive
via electronic machines

Believing he could no longer or would
wish to fight on otherwise he surely
would have

Then gather round all that loved this
poor soul whilst still alive for 1 last
final remaining time

Unplug the tubes that aid them breathe
switch off the whaling pinging machines
signaling heartbeat arithmetics

Disconnect the saline solution glucose
drip colostomy bag and statistics patches
covering them from head to toe

Release them from their comatose state
and living nightmare

For this is life in name only alive but
not alive to the world

And rather let all their dreams come true
forevermore and after that day too as
well

And in so doing so let also the living move
on to not join them in their daily grief and
pain as well

To celebrate life not just only death

A Promise Forgotten

Are you the hero of your own
  dime novel

Are you the toy at the bottom
  of the cracker jacks box

Are you the name on the wall
  of the public bathroom

Are you the saline solution
  they use to detox

Are you that groove in the record
  that repeats over again

Are you a promise forgotten
  carried off by a friend

Are you a serial spectator
  whose ticket’s not punched

Are you a banquet disaster
  in search of your lunch

Is your mirrored reflection
  left empty and cold

Is the one option left you
  —forlorn but foretold

Jezebel Is Bawling

Jezebel, you ****
Gather your composure
before the curtain goes up
Wipe away those crocodile tears
falling from your right eye
Left eye is still a predator,
so don't touch the baited trap
when Jezebel starts to cry
Accept the Oscar award,
best actress you truly are
No one has your cunning,
you're the most devious by far
Jezebel, you drunken whore
That phony saline solution,
streaming down your face,
will mar your perfect makeup for sure
As you stagger across the stage,
spilling wine from a cup onto the floor
Fake insincere boo hoo hoos
aren't supposed to be delivered
before the final ceremony act
Let the losers take their bow,
but first pull your knife out their back
As hated rivals whisper how
you smeared them with fabricated attacks
Poisoned darts shot to the liver,
sinister sobs welcome the tragic news
Beware when Jezebel is bawling,
crying her eyes out over hurting you
Her toxic tears will have your skin crawling,
such a sick twisted Jezebel thing to do

The Riddle's Metaphors

I was running from a riddle's metaphors
In a house constructed without doors
I kept running into rooms where I had already been
Now the soles on my boots are wearing thin
Speeding up is the only option I've yet to try
Sanity has been obscured by my runner's high

An echoing noise I fear I shall hear forevermore
Are the sounds of salty tears peppering the floor
My mind's pencil was having trouble drawing breaths
And my tank was running on the vapors fuel had left
The slick saline solution that covered the ground
Ironically took its creator down

Slipping on a teardrop I landed next to the truth
Only to find that is was lacking couth
It's sophistication was riddled with holes
As if a chunk of swiss were at the controls
I ease towards the cheese on the set trap
I grab the holy truth and I hear a, SNAP!

My Sobriety

deep in the sea bleached white
whale bones sing in thier chains.

 chamber music in the depths

i heard them in the night
lowering the stars as they sank
 moving heavily through their watery
 hymnals.
i swam in those dark waters and
kept on dreaming of their forms
until blue became black and a
 saline solution filled my lungs

under a cold sky the icy constellations
 spun round my magnetic head

 i drowned my angel in
a bottle for need of words.

i drank in silence shades of green and
brown to swallow aloud all the others

 until blue became white
and blood became bone

to numb in my icy marrow like
jonah, i prayed to be spat up on dry ground.
