As we mark 5 years of the death of George Floyd.
Any community agreements are now null and void.
We traveled through a wormhole back to the 1950's.
When white supremacy was the rule in all of our cities.
That mindset has increased and reared its ugly head again.
With talk of Donald Trump pardoning Derek Chauvin.
We're in another dimension and gone back in time.
When judgement is rendered before there's a crime.
Many are unsure if we are still on planet earth.
When only MAGA and the Jews have value and worth.
With babies crying and dying all around the globe.
They never asked to be dragged down that wormhole.

‘I was born with the meaning of home running through my veins.’ - Lauren Eden
**************************************************************
Light
with home rule in my veins
paternal care not vain words
motherly hug a retreat
sisterly smiles like rays of sunshine
the mind free to wander like the breeze
early to rise a routine
offering devotions a sheer joy
the glow of inner light
now illumines my journey of life
goads me to the rightful path
ever keeps me company
as a benign guardian
as I steadily trail my footsteps
during the midday sunshine
in the solemn silence of sunset
alongside solitary moonlit footpaths
and in the darkness of night
when I retreat home
to lay my head back on my pillow

The life he deserves ,the life he wishes to reserve
I observe every move
Every rule in life
Yet everything seem fair
The rich see everything fair
We cry and remain the dreamers
In every story we see winners
Not everyone gets a second chance
This world either work hard or get slashed

The partition of India as per Indian Independence Act 1947, resulted in
the end of the British rule in the sub-continent. The two self-governing
countries, India and Pakistan, came into existence at midnight of 14-15,
August, 1947. Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India,
gave a visionary speech at that hour. The following poem is inspired by
that speech and uses some of its phrases taken from Wikipedia.
Many years ago, we made a tryst with destiny,
time has come now to redeem the vow credibly.
When the world sleeps at this hour of midnight,
India wakes up to freedom from the pitiful plight.
Before the advent of liberty we’ve suffered pain,
but past is gone, present calls us to a new domain.
We’ve the will to face the challenges that lie in store,
while great future before us is opening its door.
Indian Independence,1947. In the voice of Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru.

Pristine the canvas displayed before all
Begging color and stroke, a master's mind
Brush kisses pallete, intentions will fall
Pulse soars, paint flies, never leaves her behind
Lifetimes he progressed, alone and some not
Longing and barking for a soul his kin
Hunting and seeking, heartsick, for his lot
Familiar she is, something sharpend within
Teeth gnashing and gnarl grasping at his skin
A wild reunion, fangs gift, blood running
Embracing carnage and in love again
Hunter's moon, super, alive and howling
Never again part their fierce wilding ways
On mountains they rule in most just of days

If you’re only a teen, you may carry the weight,
Of a past you abhor and a present you hate,
You may live in your room, like a temple of doom,
But the rest of your day is a book and a broom.
Oh, why am I here, oh why am I me,
Oh why am I here when I cram constantly,
I may seem like a fool, in a classroom at school,
To be something I’m not, when I’m not as a rule.
Oh, God, tell me why, is it wrong that I’m here,
If I’m not good for me, in a future unclear,
Who wants to grow old, if they never grew young,
Or never came over, game over, it’s done.
As I knelt down to pray, by the side of my bed,
I thought of the Lord, by the book I had read,
And I knew by the way that he counted His sheep,
That a lamb is the Lord by the company we keep.
Lord our God, shepherd us, in love and beauty wonder,
May thy glory here abide, and reach the soul asunder,
Christ the King is born to rule, in majesty and mountain,
Let us love our fellow man and drink the Living Fountain!

Though we know the moon
not source, we snuggle to its cooler
light...at times
seeming more approachable,
less imposing,
more accepting
we heighten such sleep
inclined toward our own truth
we lather most all with a glazing
of soothing Lies,
politics our rule in void
in contrast to rightly being
juxtaposition
of body with soul~ the space between
(the opaque we frequent)
where
we live, at the edge of clarity, avoiding
in the shadow
before dawn, at dusk
where the oval turns to wear
on the treads of
the wheel of time….

path any, what is pointed to is this
simply enter silence, stop flow of time
that God’s magnetism may fill us with bliss
and vibrant heart heeds the sublime love chime
relinquishing each conditioned belief
softening attention and gentling touch
on its own consciousness turns a new leaf
breath by breath thanking God ever so much
layer by layer, the false falls away,
revealing our true Self as divine light,
rapturous in bliss mists by night and day,
holding firm sconce of love by day and night.
let not narrow ego cravings befool ~
love’s the only rule in this earth life school

Ignorant, is not my identity in my struggle for my race.
Damaged, is not my identity by the disparaging arrows flung at me.
Effected, is not my identity to the wickedness of man.
Negligent, is not my identity as a moral human being.
Tattered, is not my identity.
Impatient, is not my identity to the slow walk in my ancestor's shoes.
Transparent, is not my identity.
Yes, it is not my identity to be caught up in the windmills of others' minds.
Ideology, my identity is invested.
Distinguished is my identity in my faith in the almighty God.
Emancipated is my identity from a life of mental oppression and inhibition.
Navigated am I with a strong will to be a part of a struggle for justice.
Tenacity is my identity.
Ignited is my identity blazed in the hope of a change.
Tagged is my identity by the history of my culture.
Youthful optimism is one of the many facets of my identity.

I rule in pride, a lion, I am glorious and supreme,
I am the head of land, in my royal zest, sublime.
Oh, what a treat! The zoo gift of food has come,
A fantastic sight in a shiny metal basket scum!
A smorgasbord of goodies poised to be devoured.
By biting and eating, the taste is empowered.
A bonus and edible desserts are on our plates.
Every mouthful is a celebration of auspicious bait.
Monosodium glutamate improves the flavor.
On our plate are various entries, a culinary savor.
But it's not simply food that makes us delighted.
It's the company of my lioness, yelling yet, excited.
A magnificent feast is near her yellow gown.
Creme puff cuffs, optimal for shredding, are brown.
A baseball visor on her head, malice implanted.
Peach icing and a dip are tasty foods granted.

Most of the day,
Alone on this wall we stay;
When the doors open wide
Shy colleagues ,behind curtains hide;
On view for all for free see
Our lives, on show for all to see;
On the seat ,over there, they sit
Often bored,only their kids will admit;
Silence is the rule in our home,
Our photos and bios well catalogued;
Up close into my face they peer
Often my expression can bring a tear;
Yes,admiration we do adore,
Silent hedonism,can be a bore;
At night with the alarm turned on
Some of us burst into song;
We long for freedom,to be alone,
In a family, not on our own

Kakadu Wetlands is home to three million waterbirds
From May to October it houses the comb-crested jacana
Jabirk, egrets and brolga also take their respite here
Macquarie Marshes are used by the Wayilwan people.
They use the Macquarie for burial grounds and ceremonies.
Interconnecting lagoons and channels of Mareeba are bird-friendly.
They give sanctuary to the Australian pelican and crested tern.
Also the threatened home-southern bell frog. Wetlands rule!
