Rough white water dreams in a river rush,
the journey can toss you and get bumpy.
Thrown off course forced to pivot suddenly,
that is fate’s way of asking you to push.
Now that you’re up with a kick in the tush,
your path can be seen even more clearly.
Rough white water,
adrenaline causes hot cheeks to flush.
You’ve got a vision of what’s meant to be
and the desire to pursue it fiercely.
Execution brings a call to ambush
rough white water.
I’ll never forget those jumpers,
dark jet fuel leaking from the sky.
Distraught felt with an endless cry,
each previous moment in blurs.
Now it has been twenty five years,
it’s crazy how time has flown by.
I’ll never forget those jumpers,
dark jet fuel leaking from the sky.
Sent from our sisters and brothers,
forced to grasp their final reply.
I can still see the Twin Towers
Stark sound echoed by the others,
I’ll never forget those jumpers.
New confessions have come to light,
let’s leave our sins on the dance floor.
Now’s the time for a crisp encore,
we’ll push aside feeling contrite.
Walk the line keep every groove tight,
the divine path you can’t ignore.
New confessions,
make the Devil pray and take flight.
Caught in a relapse once before,
wound up all but out of favor.
A heart pumping will make room for
new confessions.
I’ll hide, you seek out the destination;
maybe we’ll both find a little something.
Exhale slow to see what we’re becoming
relish in this complete transformation.
Allow yourself to be filled with passion,
feel free to run wild and keep on jumping.
I’ll hide, you seek;
don’t be tempted by instant distraction.
Opposites may just end up connecting,
I sit quiet as my heartbeat’s thumping.
Waiting here in a lotus position
I’ll hide, you seek.
Wind chimes spinning inside a tornado,
their gentle jingle splits apart my tears.
Making a wasteland of all of my fears,
nothing but smiles remain when I let go.
Dealing hesitation a swift deathblow,
alters forever how the fervor veers.
Wind chimes spinning
skillfully unravel what is nouveau.
Dead weight disintegrates and disappears
rejuvenating you as thick fog clears.
This intake of cloying breath will echo
wind chimes spinning.
Rebel woman I know you are burnt out,
don’t ever think that we cannot see you.
There is nothing that is further from true.
Listen, feel the echo inside your shout?
Set it off let that rage cause a blackout,
you’ll find others that share every value.
Rebel woman
exhaustion rapidly fuels you with doubt.
With bravery belong to something new
paint the sky a sumptuous shade of blue.
You inspire and that’s what it’s all about,
rebel woman.
The slowest taste of perfect lips,
a french twist on sweet devotion.
Savor every ounce of passion,
careful with those sumptuous drips.
You’ll fall harder as your heart skips,
with that staunch lament explosion.
The slowest taste
becomes more intense with fine nips.
Locked within my future’s vision
repeating now with this motion.
Nothing quite like when a storm rips,
the slowest taste.
Turning tables may return the romance,
let’s make it hot to go steady again.
Fall into loving eyes perfect and plain,
initiate an exchange with a glance.
Renew that passion of taking a chance
the sanctity of true love we could gain.
Turning tables
may lock you within a dizzying trance.
Wildflowers are born in the pouring rain
writing out devotion with a quill’s stain.
Everlasting you’re going to enhance
turning tables.
Luscious laughter peeling out loud,
it’s high pitched timbre fills my ear.
Innocence floods the atmosphere
like syrup dripping through a cloud.
Melody raised feels well endowed
smoothing over all that you hear.
Luscious laughter,
runs through an agitated crowd.
Suddenly the solution’s near,
set on fire and never more clear.
Light drizzle on every head bowed,
luscious laughter.
Buried with haste so skillfully,
they had to have done this before.
Once found there would be no more
gems forgotten in the red sea.
Left right where nobody would be
except all those prone to explore.
Buried with haste
accented by shoreline debris.
Riches stay alive with folklore,
fairy tales and sparkles galore.
Two steps apart from the palm tree,
buried with haste.
My lip’s swollen, bruised, and bleeding.
Someone’s nightmare to me? A dream.
The virus now floods my bloodstream,
with every touch his need’s dancing.
Fierce could sting a bit, I’m willing
to part ways with a lustful scream.
My lips’s swollen,
and the Moon has begun waxing.
I’m okay with this perverse scheme,
trading sunlight for a moonbeam.
This kiss from a vampire’s spreading,
my lip’s swollen.
Circling the drain my world’s changing,
trying to salvage the best parts.
Naiveté and those soft hearts,
they slide down disintegrating.
The hardest fist is now banging,
this is how sour becomes sweet tarts.
Circling the drain,
a potent aroma’s stinging.
Dingy is how all the growth starts,
everything’s fresh after cleaning.
With focus you’re harshly scrubbing,
circling the drain.
Ravage the taste of this city,
that sound of a midnight train ride.
Haunt glitz and graffiti collide,
vile smoke rolls toxic within me.
Some roots crack concrete completely,
DNA's script won't be denied.
Ravage the taste,
every morsel spells DMV.
Authentic you do not let slide,
nothing ever rattles your pride.
The underground rules discreetly,
ravage the taste.
Woahhh.. rock and roll. Definitely.
The system may just overload.
A lead foot going down the road.
Soft, a bit smooth? Not remotely.
That sound broke apart inside me,
hearing the guitar my pulse slowed.
Woahhh.. rock and roll.
Man that vibrates, this is heavy.
Music defined by that zip code,
with every lyric those roots showed.
It can take you back easily,
woahhh.. rock and roll.
I need a break from all of it,
people pushing and pulling me.
I’ll fight to the death to be free,
don’t discount strategy and grit.
Is there spray for what they emit?
Something to protect discreetly?
I need a break
from all the bleakness they transmit.
Their perfume stings aggressively
it’s like wandering through debris.
Treading in all that blood and spit,
I need a break.
