Premium Member Taking The Stage Rondine

Taking the stage so easily,
the rousing solo of a rose;
Such a dance with melodic prose,
this impromptu jam leaves you free;
Beneath a soft swaying palm tree
a garden of animus grows;
Taking the stage
so sweet and articulately
vigorous roots she will expose;
Poetry pebbles compose
and add her to it’s symphony;
Taking the stage.

Premium Member With An Array Rondine

With an array of foreign stamps
send me a postcard message please;
Take me through those vibrant cities!
Let me see all the rustic camps,
stories of long hikes and leg cramps;
Don't leave out forest oddities!
With an array
of antiquated outdoor lamps
brighten a dark dead of night breeze;
Show me scenery that revamps
with an array.

Premium Member A Buffet Of Words Rondine

Wired to create verse every day,
it was not a planned strategy.
My soul has wings of poetry
and a burning desire to slay.
What else is really left to say?
This is my personality.
Wired to create,
I am armed with a fine buffet
of words from my dictionary.
With a stacked vocabulary
mixed with loathing every cliche’,
wired to create.

Premium Member You Hum a Song Rondine

You hum a song,
it ignites all of my hormones;
A melody within my bones
on a beach dressed in a sarong;
An island vibe no right or wrong,
enraptured I am filled with moans;
You hum a song
playing with you I strum along;
Pure passion no trace on our phones;
Finished off with coffee and scones,
lost in what I pray to prolong;
You hum a song.

Premium Member Dour Ferris Wheel Rondine

Dour ferris wheel, are you haunted?
Dark a place to sit peacefully,
enjoy a spell if you’re lonely;
Disguised cloaked in what I wanted,
my insecurities flaunted;
False eyes like you understood me;
Dour ferris wheel
everything inside you taunted;
Needling me repeatedly
low lights glow spectacularly;
Your gloom never left me daunted,
Dour ferris wheel.

Premium Member In This Moment

In this moment, I see your face,
your smile, dancing eyes, your sparkle.
Passions rise to heights anarchal
that live forever in this space
and form the ‘us’ patterns we trace.
All is ours, all oligarchal,
		in this moment.

‘Now’ is infinity emplace
and we feel we are immortal.
We seek no retreating portal
in each other’s feral embrace,
		in this moment.

Premium Member Hiding My Pain Rondine

Hiding my pain away silent
but there's no way to run from you;
Precious moments that we  accrue
you read me well with this time spent;
I don't know if I can prevent
being drawn into your virtue;
Hiding my pain;
Keeping my distance from torment
even though I know that you're true;
Sitting as still as a statue
it's easier to turn from it;
Hiding my pain.

Premium Member When the Flames Start Rondine

When the flames start to lick the sky
manifested desire will soar;
Go on now, speak what you adore
Gaining a powerful ally
as you reach potential, oh my!
It will be like nothing before;
When the flames start
they will soothe you and satisfy;
A safe haven forevermore;
Show who you are, your inner core;
Heed what you hear in reply
When the flames start.

Premium Member Scorched Eyes On You Rondine

Scorched eyes on you,
burned by the sound of your promise;
Never again in your abyss;
You speak and it is right on cue
but what I see is what you do;
It’s a whole lot of hit or miss;
Scorched eyes on you;
Case and the truth you will accrue,
there is nothing you can dismiss;
Stay quiet but I’d be remiss
to ignore each and every clue;
Scorched eyes on you.

Premium Member Trite Rondine

Could have seduced you in plain sight,
but I don’t like to kiss and tell;
Stay down-low if it’s substantial;
There’s a cloak around every night,
we can cozy up it’s alright;
Magnetic’s not intentional,
could have seduced;
If you stick around I just might
do something nonconventional;
Admit it I’m sensational,
if your behavior wasn’t trite?
Could have seduced..

Premium Member Brawlers Rondine

The sunset girls won’t be muted,
high-pitched voices are high dollar;
They’re fleeting cascades of color,
those ardent eyes aren’t diluted;
Lightning flashes undisputed
will break through any choke collar;
The sunset girls
are nothing if not sure-footed;
Never entertaining squalor
make no mistake call them brawlers;
Color blocked magic saluted
the sunset girls.

Premium Member Absentee Feelings Rondine

Eat your heart out I know you see
how I beam when I am in love;
You could have worn me like a glove,
or had the sweetest taste of me;
Your feelings always absentee,
what  feeds my soul was disposed of;
Eat your heart out;
I found a man who will not flee
unless he pulls me high above;
Making sure I know I’m enough,
THAT’s what you never did baby;
Eat your heart out.

Premium Member Tangy Sweethearts Rondine

Tangy sweethearts blended so well,
lemonade and love a fine mix;
Leisurely pour or a quick fix,
sugar and a bang will dispel;
Our flavors make each other swell;
Shaken hard with red and white sticks,
tangy sweethearts;
We ‘get’ each other we just gel;
Becoming ride or die sidekicks
adds mischief to our bag of tricks;
A lovely chill at once befell,
tangy sweethearts.

Premium Member Raw Senses Rondine

A haunting comes unexpected,
perhaps that’s the delicious draw;
Strolling the woods with a guffaw,
nature’s buzz leaves you elated;
Every sense may seem upended,
red bared skin on your wrist is raw;
A haunting comes;
Your pulse has become upgraded
put into pace by a chainsaw;
The blood curdling scream’s first law:
‘Leave all their calm devastated.’
A haunting comes.

Premium Member Toxic Rondine

Ravage the taste of this city,
that sound of a midnight train ride.
Haunt glitz and graffiti collide,
vile smoke rolls toxic within me.
Some roots crack concrete completely,
DNA's script won't be denied.
Ravage the taste,
every morsel spells DMV.
Authentic you do not let slide,
nothing ever rattles your pride.
The underground rules discreetly,
ravage the taste.

Premium Member Held For Others Rondine

Held for others she stayed divine,
did what she could and tried her best;
Went head first into every test,
fire and ice slowly intertwine
melding into a white hot shine;
Resilient as you might have guessed;
Held for others,
a protector of the front line;
Optimism others ingest
pulsating deep within her chest
expelled as soft laughter so fine,
held for others. p

Premium Member Hanging Rondine

I am hanging by a lit fuse
fingers crossed the timing is right;
You ask me once and I just might
show you exactly what I choose;
This love I don’t want to diffuse,
feels so good to be wound so tight;
I am hanging;
All of you I want to peruse
every touch just scream with delight;
I’m not ready to say goodnight;
Fierce current I need to let loose
I am hanging.

Premium Member As Thanksgiving Nears

As Thanksgiving nears, I reflect
on the blessings of my past year
filled with all that I hold most dear.
Sunshine days with flowers perfect.
Autumn’s colors that all respect
	as Thanksgiving nears.

Other memories I inspect
of frisky frogs and graceful deer,
pleasant pastures with rivers near
and mountains from the Architect
	as Thanksgiving nears.

Premium Member Untamed Rondine

Untamed we roam throughout the night
painting that sky just like Van Gogh;
Carving with scratch, hustle, and flow
the boldest black we aren’t polite;
A moonlit chorus we recite
entrance announced with a bellow
untamed we roam;
Our tenacity shines so bright
encompassing a nighttime glow;
We set off the stars heel to toe
just begging to get in a fight;
Untamed we roam.

Premium Member Flowers and Dreams Rondine

Flowers and dreams and all things green,
but what is real out in Vegas?
Snake eyes wedding chapel status
from the look of it what I’ve seen;
Fool’s gold ring you feel like a queen,
such a bond with anonymous;
Flowers and dreams,
purity beneath the unclean;
Fueling love so impetuous,
this place feels exactly like us;
Blinded by the lights so pristine,
flowers and dreams.

Premium Member When the Moon Moves Rondine

When the Moon moves out of sight slow
it stages a nightmarish dream;
Your pulse jumps inside your bloodstream
with an irrational tempo;
Smiling like a jester although
you can hear every silent scream
when the Moon moves;
Closing your eyes is a deathblow
suffocated by the extreme;
With a blood curtailing moonbeam
can you truly trust your shadow
when the Moon moves?

Premium Member With Haste Rondine

Buried with haste so skillfully,
they had to have done this before.
Once found there would be no more
gems forgotten in the red sea.
Left right where nobody would be
except all those prone to explore.
Buried with haste
accented by shoreline debris.
Riches stay alive with folklore,
fairy tales and sparkles galore.
Two steps apart from the palm tree,
buried with haste.

Premium Member Looking Rondine

It’s like looking in the mirror
whenever I peer in your eyes;
Feels like the most welcome surprise;
Everything inside becomes clear;
Every smudge starts to disappear,
like the clouds leaving clear blue skies;
It’s like looking
and the reflection is sincere;
All of the pieces harmonize,
your soul no longer disguised;
Feelings closer than they appear,
It’s like looking.

Premium Member Silk Strand Rondine

Hot hushed hisses sweet nothings drip;
On alabaster skin they land
more ruse than the rough of your hand;
Holding me in an ego trip
you try to squelch me with that grip;
Throughout centuries they have banned
hot hushed hisses;
Fangs that nip at my lower lip
you buckle me I cannot stand;
Those shackles to me? A silk strand;
Baby go on and let ‘er rip,
hot hushed hisses.

Premium Member Bliss Beats Heighten

Bliss beats heighten, when we are still,
feeling within, God's divine light,
imbibing wisdom byte by byte,
by simply surrendering will
and day by day, as dark voids fill,
bliss beats heighten.

Easy is soul’s ascent uphill
and unbound is our heart’s delight,
when God bestows His divine sight
and feeling soma nectar spill,
bliss beats heighten.
