And what the nature of a petty feud?
Where pride replaces peaceful, prosperous life;
Where little things as mountains are construed,
And things far greater die within

The emotions of Romeo & Juliet,
always bold from the start;
Blessed to feel so deeply, 
no matter the distress;

Make no mistake the heart does suffer;

Simply breathing is barely living,
to think some are okay with that;
Barely touched and I moan,
tortured but at least I burn;

Make no mistake writers do suffer;

Being a magnet pulled to a soul 
understanding

Just another love story that wouldn't die
Just another teenage drama saga
Just another sad, sad goodbye 

Just another teenage heartbreak
Just another secret life
Just another forever love
Just another connection, forever soul ties

You had my heart with one glance
You had my love at every

Romeo and Juliet- An Altered Ending

Shakespeare's quill gave Romeo and Juliet a tragic ending
but that's a sad love story I think needs a bit of mending.
Yes, he's the Bard, but quite frankly it broke my heart
to learn they both died needlessly. I hated that part.

In my rewritten dialogue between them, I'd find a way
to change their ill-fated future and have

The Montagues and Capulets never saw eye-to-eye.
A feud so deep, eventually, someone had to die.
At loggerheads for decades (no-one remembered the reason)
To fraternise together would be an act of treason.
They’ve traded insults every time they met upon the street,
Biting thumbs at each other, with neither conceding defeat.
But, in our play,

Like Romeo and Juliet,
we were warned;
Our love was like a fire
and we'd get burned.

Completely forbidden
by our feuding families;
Sometimes in life
love is seen as the enemy.

You were my Romeo,
and I was your Juliet;
Didn't want that story to repeat,
so we ran away instead.

Settled on a hillside
in a village far away;
No more feuding

Romeo and Juliet

Oh, harken now, fair gentlefolk, I prithee lend an ear,
For I shall weave a tale of love that many hearts will hear.
The tale of Romeo and Juliet, of passion, pain, and strife,
Of families sworn against each other, bound by mortal life.

Young Romeo, with his heart so pure, didst see fair Juliet,
And in an instant knew

Romeo was hiding in an alley
  And yet Juliet found him, by Golly
    They made love with passion
    Each with their blue mask on
