When You Vanish

You’re nowhere to be seen
Like a moon disappearing
Into a void
Making you even more
Alluring and
Mystical
When you vanish

Premium MemberWarm as Toast

On cold and frosty mornings
I'll always keep you warm
Snuggle up real close to me
And fit into my form
My arms will wrap around you
I'll hold you oh so tight
Then wake you with a gentle kiss
Under blankets, out of sight

A Gentle Exit

You stay right here.
I’ll be the one to leave.

Not because I want to go,
but because loving you
means sparing you the guilt
of pushing me away.

You stay right here.
I’ll go first.

So it won’t feel like
you chose a life without me—
it will feel like
I loved you enough
to step aside.

If someone must walk away,
let it be me,
the one who learned your silences,
the one who stayed
even when staying hurt.

Maybe someday,
when the world rests quiet
and your heart looks back,
you’ll remember me
not as a loss,
but as love
that knew when to loosen its hold.

If I become a memory,
let me be a warm one—
the kind that smiles softly
in the middle of lonely nights,
the kind that whispers,
I was loved. I was chosen.
Even in goodbye.

Premium MemberLast Friday

Last Friday had became one of my most happiest days.
He sweetly spoken words to me better than any praise.
Feel I found again: an old love that as always forever stays.

Premium MemberIt's Easier to Write a Poem than a Song

All I have to do
Is think about us two
Laying on a beach somewhere
Beside the ocean blue

And all I'd want to do
Is keep you in my view
And look into your gorgeous eyes
And tell you I love you

Premium MemberSecond Chances Redux

A second chance may be
A chance to correct a mistake
But what so many to seem to miss
Is that it might not be
Their own mistakes they need to fix
Maybe others
Have wronged them their whole life
And now they're given a second chance
To be treated and to be loved
The way that they deserve
I guess what I'm trying to say is
Can I please be your second chance?

Premium MemberLove Language 2

“Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body”
                     Proverbs 16:24

Licorice language of love so sweet
Olive colored eyes that look for me
Violets and Roses smells of you
Emerald ring on finger so true

Lavender ribbons in onyx colored hair
Amethyst heart of love that cares
Nose wide open drunk in love
Grinning hoping you can’t get enough
Universal kiss cranberry flavored
Amber touch so warm and savored
Gentleman handsome with a slow hand
Easy to cherish as a noble good man

Ain't got no Shoes,still dancing

Foot bare,street cold,
but gal,we move,
we glide, moonlight don't charge no fee

We hum our bread song,
clap our hands,forget the pain
joy's freedom,you see?

This the Season for Lovers

’Tis the season for lovers,
for cuddles and cheer,
for stealing the blankets—
yes, every dang year.
For matching pajamas
you swore you’d never wear,
yet here you are posing
with reindeer ears in your hair.
It’s the season of cocoa,
of sweet mistletoe kisses,
of “I love you so much”…
and unfinished to-do lists.
It’s the season of holding
onto each other tight—
even when someone
snores like a bear all night.
But somehow it’s magic,
the way love always is:
the laughter, the chaos,
the moments you don’t miss.
So here’s to the lovers—
perfectly imperfect together—
making joy out of December,
and making love last forever.

Shadow Waiting to Dissolve

As the shadow approaches,
does the hourglass stop flowing
or does it slow down?
The light should have the answer.

As the shadow gets closer,
its arrival is greeted in silence.
Yet, is there a sudden flight
of a hundred butterflies?
The light should have the answer.

The shadow wishes to
dissolve into light, and
waits for her to shine.

If I am the shadow, and
you are the light,
do you have the answer?

My Love

You are the bright sun,
to my silver moon.
You are the light,
that shines in my darkness.
You are the smile,
to my everlasting frown.
You are the music,
to my empty silence.
You are the day,
that lights up my night.
You are the sunflower,
to my dark red rose.
You are the hyper golden retriever,
to my tired black cat.
You are the band-aid,
to my sharp pointed blade.
You are the comfort,
in a world so cruel.
You are my other half.
You are my whole world.
You are my soulmate.
I cannot imagine life,
without your shine,
lighting up my dark tunnel.
You are mine.
I am yours.
I love you.
Until the sun grows cold,
and the stars are old.
Tu es l'amour de ma vie,
mon cherie.
Pour toujours.

What can love do?
Change a life,
shine a light,
on what was once dark.

When Love Calls Me Sweetboy

I think I'm in Love
Because these days, she's the first person on my mind
I wake up thinking about her
No wonder

You stop thinking straight when you are in love, people say
And maybe that is true...
Because even when they try to warn me
I don't pay attention nor lend them my ear
Cause I only listen when its her voice

Wait, i think am in love
she calls me Sweetboy
And the way she says it, wow
It really does something to me,
It makes me feel seen, wanted
and soft in a best way

I think am in love
Maybe I'm blind
Maybe I don’t listen....
Maybe I am rushing into something I can't explain
But if it is what being foolish looks like,
Then let me be foolish in her name "Salaamah"

I think am in love
She is turning ordinary into something i crave
Because everyday
I find a new way
To fall deep into Hendrinae
And everytime She calls me Sweetboy
I believe a little more
That my heart has already choosen her

Premium MemberWhen the Petals Fall

When the petals fall, I cherish your face,
For moments don't last, always pass us by;
One day you'll be gone, oh, my heart embrace,
The flower you are, don't say goodbye.

Some prefer sweets, others a letter, but
When the petals fall, I cherish your face;
Impermanent are you, so let me glut,
Look at you, touch you, put your heart in my vase.

Everyday you wake, a new bloom in lace,
I water the grounds that carry your feet;
When the petals fall, I cherish your face,
And the scent of your hair, your skin so sweet.

If only we could bask longer this sun,
As you wilt an' wither away, I brace;
No other I wish to be with, not one,
When the petals fall, I cherish your face.
