I miss my Rio and own behalf
but it's not from any river,
but rather from the unusual bay,
How nostalgic I cry and laugh...
From the mountains monuments,
extraordinary division of the city,
between frights and sweet moments,
between beauty and necessity...
Naturally blissful, blessed,
by an exuberant geography
and a cultivated architecture,
In Rio, the carioca displays euphoria
of a contagious wealthy life,
sambando in wonderful choreography...!
Color and Passion
Oh, how I love both color and fashion.
Carnival in Brazil is my passion..
Sparking sequins,feathers are everywhere
Humanity dances in the night air.
Sensuosity lights a dance fireball,
Rio, at Carnival, is an enchanting call!

Carnival of Rio
in poverty and laughter
people celebrate
Soul-mates
In the quiet of the night, during
angels' whisperings.
I am on the streets of Rio, in
my Sambista outfit dancing and
feeling like a queen.
The crowds wild, the Latin Beat.
Gleaming confetti in my hair and
between the toes of my toes and
feet.
Happiness, utterly boundless
as the parade goes on.
My partner, Orfeo and I happily
exhausted find a grassy hill.
Watching the soft Rio sunrise.
We the eternal, Orfeo and his
Eurydice.
Exhausted, in love and divinely
still.

outstretched
arms
greets
all
people
chinese
White
afro
there in
low
bay
Beach
impressive
glow
Rio
welcomes
all
sacrum
mantle
praise
without
creed
color
Rio
kiss
all
with lovely
cheerful
mouth...!
How much longer will spiteful winter squalls
Linger with frosty grip and icy snow
Let's not delay lest tragedy befalls
Best head out to Rio de Janeiro
We could outsmart the frigid calendar
Ignore its wintry cold hypnotic chants
Not to steal the yearly drumroll's thunder
But mostly to avoid the neighbor's rants
A trip down south is the perfect escape
To while away winter in warmer climes
Pack your suitcase and just throw on a cape
Come back when spring's about to ring the chimes
See Nature's resurrection in full grace
Spurt colorful dulcet chiffon and lace
