Resources Poems

We Can Reduce the Population If We Try

The chessboard stretches, black and white,
Too many pawns crowd every fight.
Resources dwindle, tempers flare,
Too many hands grasp thinning air.

The planners meet in silent halls,
Their charts and graphs like ancient walls.
They speak in terms both cold and clean—
"Efficient means," not "cruel" or "mean."

A gentle nudge, a softened blow,
Less birth, less war, more death below.
No famines loud,

Premium MemberMay the forest be with you

May you remember the sail ship
white wake behind, seabirds about
When the bedrock begins to slip
When life's purpose is in doubt

May you remember every friend
When enemies surround
When only on few can you depend
And harshness is the only sound.

**(Chorus)**
May the mountains come in waves
That lift you up from under.
like desert rain that saves.
Like a cavalry's thunder.

I AM AFRICA

I am Africa, the cradle of mankind,
Where ancient footprints in the sands of time entwined,
The birthplace of humanity, divinely designed,
In my esteemed valleys, where life first aligned.

I am Africa, the cradle of civilization,
Where mighty empires rose with determination,
From the ancient Egypt's pyramids to the Great Zimbabwe walls,
From glorious Mali Empire to Kingdom of Kush, history

Meaningless Rhymes-2

A clever horse grazes grass before the dawn phases,
out in the open field, a man gazes,
and amuses as destruction causes.

Due to a river changing courses,
Due to the man's travesty of resources.

Premium MemberPlenty of Resources

We frick and frack and break a back.
No problem. Plenty of resources.
We can get by with losing a few.

Some of the crazy ones are out there planting trees
As we cut them down willy nilly, unconcerned.
Not realizing when they are gone, we will be too.

We are out for the dollar, but what can we spend it

We Must Recycle

We have a big problem, that is always heightening
and this has become, everyone’s enlightening
We all must do, so much more recycling
because if we don’t, the result will be terrifying

We humans, are destroying our life source
Mother Nature, that supplies our resources
so we all must become, a very big driving force
to recycle and reuse everything, with a

Desperation of Money

The greed of money, has created so much pollution
and overconsumption, of the earth’s material resources
as money has blurred their vision, for the right solution
to solve all our problems, with the right logical thinking

All of this has given us, a lot of health problems
because it has caused, so much inequality of life
to which is why, we

Life Is In Jeopardy

There are many humans - humans that cannot see
See what’s going on - on our planet earth

Nature is being destroyed - destroyed by massive greed
Greed of evil money - money has been created
Created all this destruction - destruction of our resources
Resources for our survival - survival to

I'M An African

I'm an African
Not because I was born in Africa, but I love her cultures and traditions. Her 54 children are blessed with natural resources. The rising sun and the bright blue skies must be my pride.

Premium MemberOne Sourced Humane Resources

If we come from ZeroSource,
secularly known as OneSource Light,
and sacredly as DivineEnergy,
we still may not conclude
we are interchangeable ReSources.

Life forms interdependent
are not simply interchangeable,
exchangeable
like loose change,
habitual everyday whatevers;
unlike guns and violence
because we have emergent
development,
because we are regenerate organisms;
not gradually deteriorating machines.

We inherit from Source
and we inhabit relationships
further evolving ego's heartened warmth
toward light
and divested shunning of

Natural Resources

Come walk into forest's abode,

To see wondrous beauty the earth has bestowed.

See, I am in many forms,

Can give you shade cold and warm

As a tree

I can be flowing water or a sea.

Crystal clear our waters gleamed,

Fish abundant, rivers streamed

Ocean floors, sandy white,

Now littered, brown, pollution's plight.

Trees towered high above,

But no more loved

Birds chirping is unseen,

Paper

I use to like fresh air,
when it was there,
and water, I enjoyed it,
until we destroyed it.
Each day the resources diminish.
I think I'm finished.
