He asked, in Gethsemane, if there's another way
If sin can be recompensed without His blood to pay
But silence answered as He prayed
The world held its tongue, as if to say
"There is no other way."
The narrow road that stretched ahead
Was paved by the ugly sting of death
That drew His blood at every tread
And thorns of sin, and guilt, and dread
He took it all upon His head
We all have blemishes we try to hide
Cruel vices that cannot be justified
A hurtful thought, or word, or deed
Virtues stained by pride and greed
These, all of us must guilty plead
But Justice calls to lay by His side
Redeemed by the blood of the crucified
He bore our shame to give us grace
And crown us victors of the race
Now I can’t help but stand amazed
He’s filled my heart, full of His praise

Does a rose bush bring forth cacti? Do tulips bloom bluebells?
Do grapes appear on Clematis vines? Figs on Banyan trees?
The instinct of creative blossoming, in each creature dwells
There's a clash between soft cells. Yet, the life breath brings in peace.
Is any human born good? Is any human born bad?
Humanness, like flowerness or fruitness, in all, abides
With treasures of goodness and evil, each human is clad
As scorpions hide under leaves, behind virtues, sin hides.
Aren't diamond chunks from among the coal rocks culled and cleansed?
Amidst value splits, there are humans with a good conscience.
Could the thoughts, words, and deeds of a giver be recompensed?
The evil, Jesus says, doesn't fathom the omniscience?
Hearts should be, as Jesus says, like streams, filled with compassion.
God graces your passion for compassion with dispassion.

The relentless biological clock
Our best endeavors mock
God recompensed our growing old
By grandchildren to hold.
And if not,
We are still hot.
Alive, loving and looking up
In work and hope to fill the cup
Of life and meaning and joy!
A daily routine stops, shocks toy
With our mind, emotion and will.
Change turns a corner until
We lose our North and focus
Under our breath we cuss
"What! No Way! Not today!
Not any day," we say.
The winds howl and blow the waste,
The chaff in us and the haste,
Then we settle or cowering hide
Until the storm passes from inside
From God's palm we look again
He dries our tears; heals our pain.
The baby begins and parents are born
The wedding comes, their hearts torn
Events changed or burned
Life is oiled and purified
Be not mortified!

Cheering colossal galaxy with Creator’s radiance
Directing mankind toward Providence-guidance…
Eye* of God reveals His light’s empowerment
Freeing the blinded against ignorance-imprisonment…
*2Samuel 22:25 Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.

Be unbounded by the ways of the world.
Ignorance claims the dogma of men
To qualify as the sheer pith of truth.
My thirst will then be quenched, recompensed
If I drink new seas. Aged by decades through,
Impossible barely built its name, so
I, enough, am bold to say, “I have lived.”
Things I might gain, I am proud to give
Then I would count it as priceless
My own blood could not suffice
Even all humanity’s sacrifice;
Diamonds, gold, even the ultimate price
The rarest of them all
Of which all pirates despised.
Although this poem may be derived
From Poe’s letter to his valentine,
Hope you’ll find the key to every line
As you can see, this poem is truly mine.

While the world quiet lies
silenced
by the realm
of Night.
When asleep
lie
the remains of day,
amidst
dark encirclement of shadow
in merriment
you sport yourself
wavering where you please
like bats
flying here and there
you rule a world not your own.
When the sun
is blotted out
darkness
engulfs the day
the old ships sail home
the palpable sorrow
of the fisherman is recompensed…
While, at my window,
I commune with my Muse
light my heart
light my way
fly in my eyes
fly in the eyes of my Child
and let my little one merrily sleep.

Lord,
I've asked not from you, the fastest steed.
Nor desire I to possess the keenest eye.
Nor do I seek, from life, an easy, meaningless, course
Wherein, that I, upon my labor, might get by;
I've never searched out paths being arrow straight.
Nor found great satisfaction, lest abiding in your will.
And though, oft times, for actions, others may berate.
I'll follow, clinging to You, Lord, still.
I do not seek, for self, earth's riches untold.
But oft, think I, of others lives and need.
Trying you Lord, I've seen what would unfold.
By ten you've recompensed for every deed.
Earthly wisdom, from none but You, I'll seek.
As each new dawn begins to take its flight;
To make proper choices when times, are good or bleak,
Trusting not within myself or personal skill,
But in your might;

The Great Mother
She was a famous mother of the church worked long hours
to help the poor die- with some dignity- on a straw mat.
Total her dedication but bitter was her heart she prayed
to a god that did not deign to give her an replay just a, long
enduring silence a telepathic phone call never answered
the hum of eternity, futility and nothingness.
The ungodly world recompensed her she was feted and
travelled first class meeting the high and influential and
movie stars were eager to have their photo taken with her.
She kissed the pope´s ring- few women get that accolade-
and the gallant pope with the world´s eye resting on him
kissed her hands. But her hart grew bitter in her old age she
lost faith and in her heart forswore his presence, pushed him
out like a suitor who only had empty promises in his sack.

I saw the importance of the things that I say
When my train of thoughts was ferried away
A sentiment scrounger enticed me to follow
Leaving me speechless in gloom with the shadows
My lips, they were sewn with threads of forbidden
My heart couldn't handle the sudden constriction
And behind my back, rope tethered my hands
I might as well bury my head in the sand
My writings are pus squeezed from an infection
A pin for the bubble, releasing the tension
A voice when it seems I've got nothing to say
Words knock on my door and ask me to play
Coz words have a way of glimmering bright
Supplying the wings to fly for the light
Recompensed the ransom, at last I am free
To write, to breathe, to think and believe.

I've moved on you can't hurt me anymore
I've moved on so go make your next score
Ive moved on I've flushed my heart clean
Hope you won't to the next victim be mean
I pity the poor thing once off guard you beguile
It has been many years but I've learned your style
Subtle cruel actions camouflager with innocence
But there is coming a day where all will be recompensed
Now I can forget the coldness of your greed stained eyes
I will close my ears to the sound of your false cries of lies
I am over you you wont be able to touch or hurt me again
I am over you I took back my life my love you could not retain
Down the wrong road the sign said self destructing track
A very hard lesson I learned I had to take the long way back
A degree in education does not an honest gentleman make
When half of what he professes is just plain fake
Goodbye to you and your heart of stone
Goodbye to you and your words as dry bone
Change your ways or Heaven's Portals you won't see
Change your ways or in Heaven you surly won't be
