Lihim

Be unbounded by the ways of the world. Ignorance claims the dogma of men To qualify as the sheer pith of truth. My thirst will then be quenched, recompensed If I drink new seas. Aged by decades through, Impossible barely built its name, so I, enough, am bold to say, “I have lived.” Things I might gain, I am proud to give Then I would count it as priceless My own blood could not suffice Even all humanity’s sacrifice; Diamonds, gold, even the ultimate price The rarest of them all Of which all pirates despised. Although this poem may be derived From Poe’s letter to his valentine, Hope you’ll find the key to every line As you can see, this poem is truly mine.

I may not know acrostic but will read up on it. Non-the-less it is a very enticing piece of work and I am happy to take up the challenge.
