I'll be free to kind-ness of daisies
gently trembling through the void,
and the softness of held hands
which are offering raisins,
without a trick of quicksand.
There's seeds that has a need
of watering & the showering,
Grows into roses with its thorns
defense mechanism vulnerability
can be sweet and leave you torn.
A mother cradles her newborn
and will show her teeth
if you interrupt her breath
into her child's new lungs,
and a simple harmony sang
She's now a bee to become....

Orange red the yellow;
Brown cow moo-ed
While white pigeons grin;
Grapes and raisins beloid;
From deep purple to blue;
Varies rainbow glitters;
Kaleidoscopic mixes strange bed-fellows;

MIGHTY DAVID PRAISED AND DANCED BEFORE GOD (SAMUEL 6:14-16)
Mighty David praised and danced before God
David was a high stepper
A toe tapper
Man did He love God
Mighty David praised and danced before God
Mighty David praised and danced before God
And David danced before the Lord
And David danced before the Lord
Step, step O’ Hallelujah
Step, step O’ Hallelujah
Wearing His priestly garment;
David brought up shouts of joy
As he praised and dance
The people of Israel join in dance
Singing Hallelujah
Leaping and dancing before the Lord
David blessed the people
Fed them tween dances bread, cakes of dates and raisins
He just kept on praising
David danced before God

We are juicy fruits,
flowing with sweet liberty;
drowning oppression:-
Nothing beats sweet love;
love’s the fruit of our spirit’s
sweet liberation:-
Bitter oppression
meets new raisins in the sun;
liberty preserved:-

Sold mainly at Christmas
Similar to fruit cake.
Spiced with ground cinnamon
Studded with candied peel
Sultanas, nuts, raisins
Soft marzipan centre.
Save a big slice for me!

Fresh bread,
sometimes called “fob”,
very bland by itself,
but with peanut butter and jam:
pure bliss.
Aunt Bert’s
fresh homemade bread:
Molasses and raisins
weren't the secret ingredients,
just love.

I’ve always loved marshmallows
as a small child
the only reason I always ate
a bowl of Lucky Charms
but never tasted a s'more !
I think about marshmallows
as a bag of white, puffy assorted stars
as soft as cushions on a couch
where wishes came true
I even planted raisins on
their heads for eyes
and gave each of them
names of their own !

This pomegranate heart
dreams to travel upon
a periwinkle path which
leads to the province,
where her royal majestic
persona resembles
papillon emperors,
floating under
mauveine skies,
adored by radiant rays from
the plummeting plum sun.
Serene clouds drift under
her lepidolite lilac gaze,
holding morning glory
amethyst raindrops,
ready to soothe her
fervid velvet petals.
A plethora of heather shelters
a rare rose dressed in violet,
flourishing under an
enigmatic Jacaranda tree,
surrounded by lush lilies,
infatuating irises alongside
opulent orchids,
blossoms infused with the
allure of musky ambience.
Tranquil twilight paints the
horizons in lavender hues,
stars appear like raisins
under magenta moonlight.
Her desires flow like rivers
of sangria and Syrah waterfalls,
bursting vibrantly through
mulberry mountains over
blueberry hills.
I have no desire
to reside in a place where
burgundy is too red
and indigo is too blue -
only in her unique aura
of heavenly purple shades.

Radiant waves of emotions, full of hope.
Hearty beef stew with raisins and pickled beats.
We gained wisdom from our mothers.
Trusting the saints who walk beside us.
Into rivers we bathe away our shadows.
Lights favor us with songs.
Jungles of bone.
Sand gave us the glass.
Knitting heavens weave.
Yearning for earthquakes.
Wake us when the sky is gone.
Many did not wait for us.
Roses laid waste by acidic snowfall.

Oranges encased in Orange
Grape clusters gather together
Minions purple encasement raisins
dancing in the sunlight dried out
from lack of rain
Red apples sweating crying tears in vain
Grapefruit red inside
Red are those the apples that read
My fruit of my heart my soul does know
Oranges encased in Orange
Red worms read their last rites
Before being eaten by a fish
Fruit sadden vegetables beets bleeds
Grape clusters gather together
Minions purple encasement raisins
dancing in the sunlight dried out
Red are those the apples that read
My fruit of my heart my soul does know
Oranges encased in Orange

This is a tale of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
In the kitchen a cake they both decided to cook
Not weighing the ingredients was a bit of a risk
Didn't separate them either with a fork or a whisk
Flour,sugar and butter was all over the place
No room for rolling there just wasn't any space
They added some raisins and chocolate too
Into the oven was the next thing they must do
Thirty minutes later Mickey took out the tray
Looks like a cake to me Donald did say
When it cooled down they both had a taste
None of the so called cake was put to waste

His mother went the extra mile
Spending hours after others went to bed
Creating sandwiches shaped like frogs
Baking cakes that resembled dinosaurs
Today Mat’s lunch was butterfly sandwich
Created from raisins, carrots and cucumbers
He traded it to his friend Willy
Loving Willy’s peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Feeling jealous of Willy who had a playful kind mother
Wishing his mother would spend less time trying to impress
Wanting her time, wishing she would listen or play a game
She was too busy with her job and her sandwich creating

We were born in a time where we cannot
Ever afford to break the rules
Taught unto us by different schools...
Different trains of thought...
Being the starving artist I am, as the fruit will rot,
I continue to observe and paint what I see:
The fruits of the old love you had for me,
The basket of grapes we had once bought.
Rhyme and reason no longer in how I love
The one whom I daydream about.
The one whom I want to shout
In tears of joy for the one I have always dreamt of.
Grapes become raisins as I steep every vine,
Stepdancing upon them with moves of my own,
I fill the barrel with a lovely liquid, reddest in tone.
A painting and wine for my love so divine.
