Oblivion

Poem ‘Oblivion’
Drastic times calls forth bold demands,
Not quiet hearts or passive hands.
For change to rise, the roofs and roots must shake,
To build a new, immoral and unethical ways must break.
Sometimes it takes the patience to fall,
To raise up justice, loud and tall.
Opposition paves the path, it’s true,
For something better, bold, and new.
Wrongdoing for too long has been bought.
For so long, people of the past have fought
Acts of misconduct is in plain sight.
We must fight wickedness and injustice
With all our might.
Together we must unite and stand strong.
Before we go down the path of oblivion
From them doing wrong.

Inside Of Us

Written By: D. Collins 5/16/25

God deliberately put what's inside of us.
A big, bold person waiting to raise up.
He gives us ambition and unlimited drive.
The will to do something while we're alive.

There is genious built inside of all of us.
Waiting to explode and really turn it up.
What happens in the head can come to life.
As long as we believe there is no height.

We, The People, have just what it takes.
To move forward without hitting the brakes.
We're exceptional from the core to the crust.
And God only knows there ain't nobody like us.

343

343
A tragic event 23 years ago.
A picture can say 1,000 words.
In memory of those we lost.
Time has passed, we have not forgotten.
 How could this happen?
 Survive and move on.
 343 and the brave.
 In honor till this day.
 A hijack in the sky.
 Two planes crash in sight.
This will change our lives forever.
So many worked in the Twin Towers.
I just wanted to say thank you.
For our firefighters that day at our Nation Capital.
New York is home for many.
Stand with us while the terrorist bleeds.
 Stand strong into tomorrow.
Honor them in a memorial. (2006)
 Never forget that morning.
Unite this country in new beginnings.
 Raise up our colors.
Red, white and blue for our brothers.

Rachamim

Rachamim
 (Compassion Of Mercy)
 Why do nations rage?
 Always at war in vain.
 The wicked will never stop.
They love violence and it’s wrong.
Under the sun, always at war.
 No care for another soul.
 What life is this?
No victory in the blood of violence.
It is in our nature to destroy ourselves.
Leaders care for no one else.
 The fall of mankind.
Burn down all the land from the inside.
 Very few people are left.
Hope Jesus remembers me in the end.
I want no part of this dark world.
 Always another war.
Have compassion for those who still believe.
 Through mercy, forgive me.
Time is like Sodom and Gomorrah.
One day it will be all over.
Judgment will be worse than before.
 Not water but fire.
Raise up into the colorful sky.
All the cities will be burning bright.

No More

No More
By Adam Becker

Weary they grow when day turns to night.
Their Dreams they have died which once they took flight.
They have toiled and labored yet brought to shame.
They are many yet have no name.

Their sorrows flow like a river with no end.
They lost their hope thine only friend.
The sky, it remains, the sun still shines.
Gives light to their tombs, their fallen shrines.

An army surrounds them, their mind at war.
They will be conquered; they strive no more.
The fields are marked where the dead they lay.
They have cried out for mercy, no longer they pray.

What have we here now? What do we find?
Life can be cruel, so cold and unkind.
But life can be resurrected, the dead come to life.
To shake off the ashes, to brush off the strife.

Look to the light and grab hold of hope.
Arise from your slumber, take hold of the rope.
Dreams can live again where once they were dead.
Look to the heavens, raise up your head.

You are greater than broken, greater than despair.
You still have a future, and your heart will repair.
When life tries to break you, let out a great cry.
No more will life conquer, no more will I die!

Premium MemberI AM THANKFUL

I am so thankful to my Dear Grandma
for such immense affection to shower -
continuous ! No full stop, no comma
with love and care always to embower.

To my Dear parents I remain grateful
to raise up me with cary protection.
My care free childhood days ran too cheerful.
Dad guided to fulfil my ambition.

To friends and associates paying ‘Thanks’
to give me full support and assistance.
Thankful to children giving them high rank.
I showed light ! Now they stand as my success.

Premium MemberWHEN GOD CHOOSES

WHEN GOD CHOOSES

Who can be against who God chooses
Who can council the Lord God Most High
He does what He wills
Fear not, just be still,
To His will all men must comply

Who can lay a charge to God's chosen
Who can condemn one of His own elect
He was made guilty more than all
For us took the fall,
Of His own He was the greatest reject

Victory belongs to our God
He defends those the system abuses.
The innocent and poor,
their oppressions endured,
He will raise up who the whole world refuses

It's whatever pleases Him, no excuses,
the brazen, the stubborn, and the mulish,
He will take off a head
raise a tail there instead,
Confounding the wise with the foolish.

Let all man put trust in Jesus,
When God takes it out of our hands,
What God does is good
Whether or not understood,
God's ways are much higher than man's.

Premium MemberThe Vows of Gasoline and Forgiveness

Truth has been backwashed with elongated shadow
polluting the masses with exaggeration and lie
They've made corruption just a bit more palatable
maintaining power, they've great lust for us to divide.

We were great when battling against rabid tyranny
now we goosestep to war for the comfort of oligarchs
Our children are sacrificed for the greed of oily kings
We the sheep are led to high cliffs by false prophets.

They say it takes a village to raise up our children
but the village is brimming with idiots and sinfulness
our courts are filled with jesters that turn a blind eye
the masses are slowly losing their God given rights.

I don't see another Ghandi or King on the horizon
I'm not holding my breath for our slothful messiah
my faith has been tainted by deception over time
It's time to marry gasoline to forgiveness and ignite.

Premium MemberWould we? Can we?

I have said..I have heared many others say!! If I saw a sign.'
Or if God appeared then I'd beleive..I Yet in truth over ninety out of every hundred people (would not do what they say!)
They would still be obstinate..Even after such a display
satan knew and knows God is real..' Yet he pulled away.'
And humans are (pride full) so i'm important many would
Think that way.' I'm not saying; they are not' Yeshua gave
His all to save.' What holds more proof.? Than the Word
(Who made Today?) In the Fathers wisdom, he allows us
Each a test..We may choose? we may reject? based on the
Stages that we've met, each encoumter is unique.' So many
Truthfully say 'I have never seen or heard' so you see in
That Way; He's very kind.' For what of those who are; were?
Confronted.' What if they should fall behind.? For God will
Not spare the angels, who had seen His Holy Face.'
I urge you just remain in faith' be most joyfull in your place'
Give to the Lord all ylour doubts and questions and be
Thankfull, raise up your cares and worship, for He only can
Fill us full, of every grace.!

Masterpiece

I see the disappointment smeared across your face
as you strike a piece of black coal
across the surface of that lonely canvas .
The love you once felt.
Fracturing into tiny sharp shards.
Its past, raining down onto the earth below.
A small piece penetrates, deep into your irritated hand.
Sharply without a flinch.
you raise up,
your now Claret dripping finger.
To your icy lips.
A gentle pinch from your teeth,
removing the splintered shard.
The essence of your life.
Now smearing down this tainted masterpiece.
My expression, a look of concern.
Slowly without emotion.
Raising your eyes
only, for but a second.
To take in another pixel
Of this torturous soul in front of you.
Suddenly a racing thought,
flash’s through your mind.
you realise,
It’s your own inner image you are painting.
A slowly dying skeleton of a man
Still trying to escape his tortured fate.

Tear by tear

Tear by tear
I'm building myself
and I'm going above
of what you expect
and I'm climbing the wall
of your disrespect
and I'm seeing the world
with my own mindset.

Tear by tear
I'm leaving you behind
and I'm finding the way
to raise up high
where nobody can
catch my flight
to bring me down again
in this life.

Tear by tear...one more time

Live The Best Life I Could

This is my anthem
I will not be the one you destroy
Fear has no place in my life
I will raise up
Against all pain
Against all regret
I will take me to the top
I will look to help others climb
I will be the strength I need
I will be the love I see
I will take it all to heart
There ain't no storm I wont survive
This is me I wear it proud
I've made mistakes
I've failed to connect
I've tooken all this rage and made it bloom
There is beauty here where I stand
I am the one who will change me
It might be hard
It might be strange
But in the end when I leave this place
On my tombstone it will read
Built of courge lead by love
time to rest for I have lived the best life I could.
